  2. Its kind of a shame imo that Diane abbot is single-handedly setting back the progress of race relations yrs, by being one of the very few UK high profile black persons, & absolutely useless, so reinforcing some peoples prejudices.

  7. http://jobbi.lv/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=9007 400 euro inluding postage £350....
  8. They transplated a load last winter locally along a motorway, but i think alot of it died in that dry spell. Seemed alot of cost & effort for a poor result but then the weather was exceptional dry.... Some of the of new bare root hedging died also, but i think the tranplants did even worse.
  9. Iv'e borrowed the sthil long reach one was very good but price is high especially batteries, also a Black decker 36v one which was ok but more vibrations, so thinking they cheap ones don't have decent AV? Do you store batteries somewhere as warm(ish) as e.g repeated near zero temp in unheated shed probably won't do them much good for a long life & the batteries are really expensive......? Husky sellling a special little insulated battery box: Hyundai do a cheap 60v one https://hyundaipowerequipment.co.uk/hyundai-hyht60li-60v-lithium-ion-battery-hedge-trimmer/?gclid=Cj0KCQjwjvXeBRDDARIsAC38TP6gFEXlzwWpPmEbZkpd3IKPb5dQlVK8QYYQcnvRFdiEszNJZWlw8egaAmvCEALw_wcB Maybe if they can make a an electric car a hedge trimmer won't be to much trouble... No idea is there garden stuff is any good though as prices are so cheap compared to stihl so hard to think the quality will be up to much? EGO brand ones supposedly good also can cut 1inch..... https://egopowerplus.com/brushless-hedge-trimmer/ Stiga (same company as alpina i think) do a 80v one would be nice to see how that compared to the stihl This group test review stihl comes top: https://opereviews.com/landscaping/hedge-trimmers/best-cordless-hedge-trimmer-shootout-2018/
  10. Iv'e always wanted a decent one having used a few different cheap electric & petrol "micky mouse" ones that are pretty useless/way too slow to bother with if you have a large volume of stufff to shread To get something decent speed I think is quite expensive so depends on the volume stuff you have to do. This company looks good do a whole range.. https://www.elietmachines.com/en/pages/products

  15. Could do with this have a relative has a 1/2 mile drive with sycamores along both sides, it can full more than 10 builders bags. Mowers are good though as chopped leaves rot faster take less volume, but with so many leaves the mower bag fulls in 5 seconds ?
  16. Having alot of bramble suggests canopy not that dense for 25yrs old trees. Thinning Practice - A Silvicultural Guide - Forest Research Have a read about thinning

  21. I thought something about having chain correct tension & oiling well would make a difference etc.
  22. Is there anyway to minimize rate of sprocket wear? 0.5mm isn't much think all my sprockets are more than that. Stihl sell a special tool to measure: Asume pointy bits are 0.5mm?
