  5. Could do with this have a relative has a 1/2 mile drive with sycamores along both sides, it can full more than 10 builders bags. Mowers are good though as chopped leaves rot faster take less volume, but with so many leaves the mower bag fulls in 5 seconds ?

  10. Local farmer has started using scaffold poles as fence posts & telegraph posts for strainers, seem to work quit well. Wonder if chesnut would last longer if posts are seasoned first?

  20. I have a alu fencing maul would that not be alot kinder than a steel sledge on wegdes? Its alot better @ not destroying the tops of fence posts than a steel one. Or you can get expensive fancy plastic ones

  22. Yes c32 large tree says learn how to uses wedges & a winch for hung up tree Just asking for which wedges people would recommend to get as don't have any apart from smallest oregon On cs31 I only used a felling lvr I think, never really used wedges etc.
  23. Is it worth getting some new wedges as only have the small plastic oregon ones. Looking at the K H plastic ones come in a set . Or two high lift for about £50 plus spare wooden bits etc
  24. 3 acres for 50k don't think you will make anything from harvesting etc 10yrs ago probably could of bought 20 arces for same price though so maybe land price will increase even more?
