  4. Pimps & Faggots & Benders ? So make some pimps....
  5. 8 tone bags of woodchip (kind of surprised they bagged it up as bags cost money) 8 x £100 = £800 worth of woodchip & £50 worth of logs so job only cost £150 https://www.travisperkins.co.uk/Hallstone-Hardwood-Play-Chips-Bulk-Bag-0-6m³/p/215760
  6. Echo saws now also, bit pricey the "pro" version though they have cheaper one also "Pro" https://www.echo-tools.co.uk/products/battery-products/dcs-1600/ Will 50v has more torque? agianst 36v. Oddly the cheaper one is 58v
  7. I'd say unrealistic to expect alot more logs from 3 small trees. £1000 sounds alot of £ for three small trees that look like they could be felled from ground without any climbing in less than 30 minutes (Though maybe picture is deceptive) Are you saying they stole some of the logs? Also logs don't look freshly cut they look abit old? & why the left over brushwood if they also chipped alot of the logs?
  8. Back Door Santa
  9. From Googling about 15-20K I reckon

  13. EFAW F course had a video clip horror compilation Worse one was some guy bouncing around on a rope like a rag doll whlist being repeatedly crushed by a huge log that was being rigged down.
  14. Barbours chair wacked in head
  15. Disappointed in the x27 abit lightweight so have to use more force rather than using weight of head its ok for perfect logs with no knots It depends on type of wood neeeds splitting different woods suit difference type of axe. For best all rounder prefer a maul for anything really stubborn easier just to use chainsaw. Haven't tried a huge range of posh axes etc would have to use a load of different ones to decide on best abit obsessed with axes Want all theese for xmas ? ? WALDPONY Leveraxe X39 Helko Bruks Simplex maul
  16. http://www.timbersaws.co.nz/product/229-timbersaws-rami-lopper How come they use they for platation brashing in nz but not uk eu etc? Thought a chainsaw would be less work than a giant lopper, think of the arm workout after a few 1,000 cuts.... Thinking that they would be ideal for volunteer conservation work when chainsaws not allowed, clearing large rhody etc.
  17. Used a portek type one thought it was rubbish When cutting coppice I just attack a massive pile/bundle with the chain saw was alot faster.
  18. How bout one of thoose hippy/permaculture rocket stoves. Don't think it would be HETAS cert though. https://www.google.co.uk/search?biw=1576&bih=909&tbm=isch&sa=1&ei=ACcSXIypF-PmxgOu4pOYDg&q=rocket+stove+mass+heater&oq=rocket+stove+mass+heater&gs_l=img.3..35i39j0l6j0i5i30l3.14926.17009..17165...0.0..0.71.706.11......0....1..gws-wiz-img.......0i30.G2Stv1Gi6ok#imgrc=hPokQ6rERTdOSM:

  21. Whar size saw would people recommend using on c32 only have a ea4300 think it will be underpowered in comparison to others on course may be using & don't want to overheat it making it struggle cutting big diameter stuff. I know is says 15" or 18" bar but they don't mention saw size. Thinking of getting the ea7900
  22. Maybe this for wegde pouch https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Hunting-Hiking-Military-Molle-Belt-Tactical-Paintball-Magazine-Dump-Pouch-Bag-uk/392188735864?_trkparms=aid%3D555018%26algo%3DPL.SIM%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D20140122125356%26meid%3Dfd26651d54ff46909bc58b74e145e3c8%26pid%3D100005%26rk%3D1%26rkt%3D11%26sd%3D123474847533%26itm%3D392188735864&_trksid=p2047675.c100005.m1851
