  2. Hadn't really thought about it .... Lots of stuff in legal department Childrens folding pram sold by quality high street brand Had criss cross folding support Kid reached down, pulled lock, and sliced all his fingers off ( neatly) Proper scissor action That was hushed up .....
  3. It was when I first started assessing in early 1980's Legal department was involved not me ..... Different times....

  6. I reckon I'm the guy who put career into career Hard route but very interesting And eventually little will phase you..... Got to be better than being local government numpty

  12. 15% of USA real estate now owned by Saudi Arabia (there is no cheap oil) 30% of hotels in USA owned by someone with name Patel ( I have no problem with this but indicative of how it's going) Illegal Drug trade bigger than steel industry Heroin not as addictive as Methadone So illegal drug trade produces "lifetime" customers for legal drug trade Morphine produced from opium is better than the. Artificial stuff they use There is global shortage of proper morphine So why don't we buy the opium from afghan farmers? Destroys heroin trade in one step?
  13. Agree 100% BUT letting load of toffs pocket £millions won't achieve it ...... I was helping run recycling company in 1970's when everybody thought we were freaks,... Watching my wife put our rubbish though dishwasher before it goes for recycling drives me nuts ....And I suspect it goes into landfill If you want to save a £bilion look closely at whats going on in recycling industry, Councils all over UK. Are composting hundreds of thousands of tons of garden waste AND THEN DUMPING IT, wigan met " recycled " 155,000 tons and dumped it on a farm, Chester similar and use it on roadside, Denbighshire pay Lord Newborough £8/tonne to take it away ........THAT IS NOT GREEN and it won't save the planet..... Apologies if anything changed i did research three yearsgo
  14. Hadn't considered that NOT charging vat is considered a subsidy towards fossil fuels So not charging vat on childrens clothing is really giving a helping hand to parents ...... Also is there a different rate of vat for green energy?

Unless it costs me £2.5k a year !
  16. Your forgetting HOUSE OF LORDS Full of landowners who will make fortune from windfarms Don't delude yourself that the people in parliament are seeking to do whats best for britain They are seeking to do whats best for themselves
  17. As I keep saying the weather forcast should tell us , every day, what we can eat based on wind power generation Minus 10 degrees and SALAD ! FOR A WEEK ! I can't think of anything better to bring home the point that it doesn't do whats needed.......
  18. Still looking round before changing heating system There seem to be domestic boilers that run on chip, am I (we?) missing a trick here? Also talking to someone who imports finshed wood products fom Poland They had to fill in some green forms for a major retailer Polish supplier told them Polsh workers take sawdust home to run their central heating Again another market
  19. As I said they should say on weather forcast what we can have for tea generated by wind turbines Not much fun when it snowing and they say SALAD AGAIN. Also if you look there are not many ten year old wind turbines working 7 days a week".. I think they should state a categorical amount they will generate on their planning application, and if production falls below that they have to take turbines down..... That would stop all those lies being told on planning applications
  20. They do say David Camerons father in law will make billions from wind farms ........
  21. If you don't ask you don't get

You get the pcture ...... Might bringit home when its snowing and they say salad
  23. It would look good in my log shed Then again Perhaps not
