  1. If the tunnel has a cover on it, even a transparent one will block UV transmission so the nets should last.
  2. Sorry was typing from memory before, open internet options then connections and click LAN, local area settings button and check if you are being routed through a proxy. If you are then change it to automatically detect settings. A friend of mine had this and it was doing weird stuff to his browser whatever he used changing his search page and home page etc.
  3. Open your Internet options and advanced and check if you are being routed through a proxy server. If you are you have been redirected. Unchecked proxy and select automatic.
  4. Greenmech for sale on Gumtree, made me smile as it's in Garden power tools. It looks clean.
  5. What is there to do apart from dress the bar, clear the groove and make sure it's not pinching ? If the drive links are bottoming the bar is shot isn't it ?
  6. Would it pass ? A frayed knot
  7. He's probably better looking than Vespasian then, don't worry about it there's probably a perfectly rational explanation. Could be worse it could be Biggus Dickus
  8. Worry no longer " Vespasian, Latin in full Caesar Vespasianus Augustus" His full name ends in anus harr harrr
  9. I wonder what the life expectancy of the chain and bar would be on something like that ? It would be out of the bar guides at the sprocket end and running faster than recommended getting hot.
  10. That looked fun. What's with all the whiskers ?
  11. Mending iPhones, done a few different repairs from Youtube videos now, screens, speakers and volume button replacements and the parts cost buttons on eBay.
  12. I bought a 25cc top handle for a one of job and I've used it a few times since. Plastics seem a bit floppy but it starts and runs fine now I cleaned the carb out after it had been standing for a while. It runs on Aspen 2 now not the 25:1 mix in the booklet, much less smoke.
  13. This June for me, I've got to start looking for some wood as the store is nearly empty but I had the second hernia done a fortnight ago and it's still a bit tender so I look like sending my wife out instead.
  14. Me too, 50 is a distant memory these days, soon be an OAP Our stove is a dainty little Hunter Hawk and if I buy logs I always have to split some of them, not very often I buy any if I can get arb waste or scrounge windblown though. Anything over 2" is fire fodder for us I don't mind cutting and drying it at home.
  15. It says in his post it's an alloy part, is yours alloy ? They are interchangeable but metal ones might need different screws in the AV mount.
  16. Gumtree ad This sounds promising, I'm keeping an eye out just wish I lived nearer
  17. I don't like my gravy al denté I like to be able to drink it after the dinner's gone Send a couple of lads round with pick axe handles, he'll not be complaining again I've enjoyed reading this thread, it has everything. Intrigue, comedy and insight, shame the OP isn't contributing more since his diatribe about the suppliers he has encountered so far.
  18. Any relation to you ?
  19. One got left on the start and charge round at the bike shop while we went out and an hour later it looked like a black football and was steaming and seething. Mechanic knocked the clip off the terminal with a long cane and then left it alone for half an hour to calm down. Get an Optimate or something similar to maintain your battery.
  20. Do you know any welders ? Gas or mig and grind it back flat.
  21. Spares are getting scarce and expensive and the payload is not very good. The firm my wife drives for used to run the vans but they are not being imported any more because of the safety issues, no ABS etc. They do roll easily as they are top heavy when loaded and the little wheels don't handle soft ground or snow that well.
  22. You can see the difference better from the other side of the chain. The full chisel has a square top edge not rounded like the semi.
  23. I though it looks like Ash, get a close up picture of the bark as it doesn't look to shine like Hazel, you get papery peel effect on it as well. I make a few walking sticks and Hazel is the favourite but Ash is popular as well.
  24. Have a look at a parts diagram it should give you a clue how they come apart.
  25. I wonder if any people just paid up without querying ?
