  1. I like watching these. You don't see overhead gas pipes like that round here they would probably go missing. Nice work Alexandr.
  2. Poplar is good at absorbing water and turning into mush and the bark peels off it as well so it gets to absorb water even quicker.
  3. If it did the job that's all that matters.
  4. It looks like a beaver took it down

    grubs

They look more like pupae than grubs, small moth probably.
  7. 28° on our back garden this afternoon, we got burnt a bit.

    App crashing?

Just tried it on my 4s and it worked fine. Check your legal team before you proceed Mark, they're clamping down on it round here.
  9. I got a load of it last year and find it burns fast and leaves a lot of ash like burning paper. I mix it in with better stuff to save getting up to keep loading the fire.
  10. I'd stick with acceptance as acception is an archaic term no longer used...
  11. It's the one with no coil I take it chuck? Just kidding. Take it to bits as a learning experience. Everybody has to start somewhere.
  12. I can sympathise with your neighbour. We used to have a woman next door, first fine day of the year and she would light a fire to burn anything she could find in the garden so we had to shut all the doors and windows to keep the stinking smoke out of the house. Yes it's time to get a house in the middle of nowhere Stefan.
  13. My old saw said 25:1 but I ran it 40:1 for years and still going fine. Why do you need 3 different oils ?
  14. Ours had its second cut a couple of days ago. I lowered the cut and took the tops off all the worm casts and it looked like the Somme but it's greening up now.
  15. That would be the coil.
  16. Just out of interest what is the end of the plug lead connected to ?
  17. Righto, I'll leave it with you.
  18. Convert it to electronic ignition with something like a Nova II or a SIG 01 module.
  19. Does it have a fast idle setting.? Set it to fast idle to start it if it does then warm it up and adjust it from there.

    Tough job

Can't see anything about trees on here, could you be a bit more cryptic in your posts as I like a good puzzle to get my brain working in a morning.
  21. Have you screwed the tickover screw in completely then out 2 turns ? Back it right out and then screw it in gradually till it ticks over. it pushes on the linkage to hold it open not like the other two screws which regulate air fuel mix. Hold the trigger open and start it then release till you get to the speed you want and screw the screw in till it engages the linkage.
  22. Does the oil hole in the bar line up with the pipe ? If the pipe is suspect replace it they are not expensive.
  23. It picks the chip up at the same time I heard
  24. Saws you are getting through would still be under manufacturer's warranty at 12 to 18 months wouldn't they ?
  25. Don't you have to lock the throttle to apply the choke ? Press the interlock and squeeze the trigger then apply the choke and release the trigger to lock it on. Do older models work different ?
