  1. Me too, 50 is a distant memory these days, soon be an OAP Our stove is a dainty little Hunter Hawk and if I buy logs I always have to split some of them, not very often I buy any if I can get arb waste or scrounge windblown though. Anything over 2" is fire fodder for us I don't mind cutting and drying it at home.
  2. It says in his post it's an alloy part, is yours alloy ? They are interchangeable but metal ones might need different screws in the AV mount.
  3. Gumtree ad This sounds promising, I'm keeping an eye out just wish I lived nearer
  4. I don't like my gravy al denté I like to be able to drink it after the dinner's gone Send a couple of lads round with pick axe handles, he'll not be complaining again I've enjoyed reading this thread, it has everything. Intrigue, comedy and insight, shame the OP isn't contributing more since his diatribe about the suppliers he has encountered so far.
  5. Any relation to you ?
  6. One got left on the start and charge round at the bike shop while we went out and an hour later it looked like a black football and was steaming and seething. Mechanic knocked the clip off the terminal with a long cane and then left it alone for half an hour to calm down. Get an Optimate or something similar to maintain your battery.
  7. Do you know any welders ? Gas or mig and grind it back flat.
  8. Spares are getting scarce and expensive and the payload is not very good. The firm my wife drives for used to run the vans but they are not being imported any more because of the safety issues, no ABS etc. They do roll easily as they are top heavy when loaded and the little wheels don't handle soft ground or snow that well.
  9. You can see the difference better from the other side of the chain. The full chisel has a square top edge not rounded like the semi.
  10. I though it looks like Ash, get a close up picture of the bark as it doesn't look to shine like Hazel, you get papery peel effect on it as well. I make a few walking sticks and Hazel is the favourite but Ash is popular as well.
  11. Have a look at a parts diagram it should give you a clue how they come apart.
  12. I wonder if any people just paid up without querying ?
  13. What's a Greenwich ?
  14. Left the keys in the motor ?
  15. Sounds like something for sex addicts Sorry, it's the medication's fault.
  16. First one we had at the box factory I worked in was just a handle/spindle that went through a reel and you just tied it to the pallet corner and walked round the stack. Later a machine was purchased for the job but it used a lot more wrap than the original
  17. Will birds listen to this advice though ? Stick a Harris Hawk in the garden on a perch for a few days.
  18. That's a pimps saw that is. Nice looking though.
  19. Just set fire to it then they should know what to do.
  20. I got that with my 036 and a new choke lever made no difference, thinking it might be a worn out trigger. If the saw is running and I push the choke lever down it speeds up but it will not lock there.
  21. Check the pipes to the turbo or the turbo itself.
  22. No, camping is something that is definitely better done while it's still dry.
  23. Why would someone who mainly does hedge work buy a 6" chipper when a shredder for £800 would more than do the job ?
  24. No I was being flippant, sarcasm is something completely different. I'll let you know when I'm being sarcastic.
  25. Don't dip your scrotum in it then:lol: Why do they make chain oil when there are all these cheaper alternatives ? I use the Husqvarna one at the moment, it's quite thin.
