  1. Copper grease is anti seize not lubrication, proper grease does the job better.
  2. I've looked all over and I can't find what kind of steel they use. I also can't find what kind of steel Oregon, Ozaki or Stihl use.I could be cutting this wood with something totally unsuited for the job and not know about it. I'd also like to know what kind of aluminium Husqvarna makes their pistons from and what rubber is used for the diaphragms in Walbro carbs. I am not going to sleep over Christmas now thanks to you
  3. I use LM grease on all mine, same grease as car wheel bearings get. Bar tip sprockets get same.

    Fake or not?

Has that cat got egg noodles on its feet ?
  5. I asked this last year and posted a perfectly rational link. I certainly wouldn't stop shopping at Iceland because they call a tree by a different name to the one I use. I am well into their Greggs pasties at the moment though P.S. if you put Pseudotsuga menziesii on the label I'd probably think it was drugs
  6. I can see it in mine and your reply. Try a direct upload. 10.10 would do for me. Just a thought, if you had a bloke on there would it have a second finger ?
  7. I found a meme that I thought was quite good.
  8. What did it cost in shells ?
  9. I wouldn't pay that for an 039. I bought an 036 for £120 and it out performed my friends 039 on a 20" bar.
  10. That would last about two days round here before the police had it in the crusher riding it like that
  11. I run my 135 on Aspen as well. I ran it on pump fuel at first and I had to richen it up a bit and speed up the tickover when I switched to Aspen but it runs sweet enough and no starting problems.
  12. They've stopped crapping on site now if they have previous as it is DNA testable.
  13. Put the filter back on. You are getting standoff at the Carb entrance. Is it running rich?
  14. What model saw is it ?
  15. It's mayonnaise, are you putting olive oil in the fuel mix ?
  16. They look versatile but are definitely not cheap. Crewcab Kipper sounds like a fun vehicle, bit fishy though.
  17. Wicker man.
  18. I wish this was closer I would like to join the queue for the privilege of cutting these down and removing. All you need is a chainsaw, they will deliver themselves apparently.

    Fake or not?

Doesn't say it's a Stihl. "Craftop NT9200 / MS660. Chainsaw". Probably a bit misleading and dear for a copy but you have the choice of not buying.
  20. Everything is quicker nowadays. If you go in hospital for surgery they send you home same day when they used to keep you in all week. Microwaves cook your food in seconds instead of minutes and hours. I've enlisted for a 3 week brain surgery/rocket science course at the local education centre. You get a certificate but you have to supply your own tools. OP has not replied to the thread so he must have got a job and be too busy. Good luck with the search and stop with the negative vibes Moriarty.
  21. My Chinese 25cc says 25:1 mix but I ran it on 40:1 semi synth because it smoked too much and it has had Aspen 2 the last couple of times I've used it with no ill effects yet.
  22. Mine is a hatchet, axes are something big you need two hands to wield. I have a small hatchet specially sharpened up for carving but that hatchet is left not so sharp solely for splitting sticks for kindling.
  23. I made a hatchet handle of Beech because it was what I had handy and have been very happy with it. It is my favourite stick chopper. Calling your axe Goliath is just setting it up for a fall if you ask me

    Wages

That's so they can make enough in 3 hours and get down the dole to sign on then into the pub for dinner time

    Wages

I'd come out of retirement for that
