The secret with the pouring lid is to open it before you screw the lid on then close it once it's tightened and turn the flask over to get rid of the drips. If the lid is sealed when you tighten it the rubber is turned and twists off or rips, ours did it till we realised what happens.

Open the L screw up a bit and speed the tickover till it moves the chain then back it off till it stops moving. Mine was set weak and you had to fast idle it every time but it's good now.

Give the primer bulb plenty of pump for the first start. Pull the choke out and lift up and pull till it coughs then push the lever down to the fast run and pull it over again [ame] [/ame]

Not relevant to the original post but we found a Laurel growing between the slabs in our garden with no idea where it came from, birds spreading seed probably. It was in full leaf about a foot tall and I just pulled it out but the roots came with it so I stuck it in a pot of soil and it grew on quite happily. It gets watered when it rains and when anyone thinks about it otherwise it is ignored. I thought Laurel was a Hardy perennial ! Sorry, I'll get my coat.

That's not grammar it's spelling. Rouge is French for Red innit and God should have a capital G.

Does it have H & L screws same as a saw carb ? Open the L screw up a bit to richen it and possibly speed tickover up a bit as well.

What profile are the screws, D, double D, spline or pacman ? You can buy a set of all 4 for £10 post free on eBay or a bit less on Amazon but plus post.

My friend bought a MS181 about the same time as I bought my 135, his 181 went back because it wouldn't oil (new pump fitted) then it wouldn't tick over and now it's a pig to start. My 135 had a problem with the oil pump drive not disconnecting on tickover but once that was cured it's had no more problems. I wouldn't call either of them mediocre they are capable saws they both do the job well for the price. If I get another saw I would probably go for the Echo CS-310ES, cheaper than both the aforementioned but gets good reviews.

They never look good till about three years after they have been done, just get in there and cut some off.

I use a tens machine on my shoulder and it helps, I never tried it on tennis elbow but I will next time it flares up. Being retired means I just take it easy till it goes away, usually within a couple of days. A bandage above the joint and cold compress on the elbow both help.

There's a follow on to that "hard work never killed anyone, but it's a risk I'd rather not take" There's also another saying round here that hard work kills horses, who do you believe ?
