  1. It's almost as if they have a pathological hatred of trees (or there's some backhanders going on)
  2. Drag it back quick I don't think anyone noticed
  3. Around £1000 would not surprise me if it's not been hammered to death.
  4. Buy another one for the nipper for crying out loud. Make sure it's in your size though
  5. I've looked on hutzl.net and can't see any MS200T kits, one of those would be interesting to do.
  6. I was reading about axe throwing and seem to have slipped into a soft porn site with an innuendo comments section. Does everybody except me have a double header ?

    Jokes???

Where do you take pies to be weighed ? Somewhere over the rainbow. Somewhere over the rainbow, Weigh a pie.
  8. I was watching a Kestrel yesterday while out walking. It was blowing a gale yet it managed to hover in one spot for minutes at a time, amazing birds. We get a few Buzzards and Sparrowhawks as well.
  9. It's not a proper superhero costume without a mask, the braces are a nice touch though like Clark Kent's glasses, take them off and no-one will recognise you.
  10. I'm with the "crack on with it" crew". I've thought about it a few times on a local walk and a couple of days ago someone had done it and carted the big branch away so they must have been official or had the right tackle.
  11. Was he the one who rang the police to report a burglary when someone had nicked his stash ?
  12. I like watching stuff like that, better than telly. I thought the A frame was a bit wasted and at the end the tree hung on to the bitter end so it was superfluous. Standing on the roof with the big saw using it overhead was different

    Upgrade help

I still like mine after all these years. I don't know what the problem is with people who call them.
  14. I thought they were Muller rice adverts
  15. What's warm start ? There's choke, fast idle, run and stop on the control lever on my Stihls. Squeeze the trigger and push the lever all the way down for choke, when it coughs pull the lever up one notch with the trigger still locked to start on fast idle. Let it run for a few seconds then trigger it to knock fast idle off and it's in the run position and the next up is the stop. Push it back down one to start again or go back to the fast idle if it's not warm enough to start. Get it warmed up then try speeding the tickover up then turn the H&L screws in until they seat gently and back out 1 turn (it might be marked on the plastic around the holes)
  16. I use a funnel like that which came with my first saw and I've never seen any debris in it from Aspen, that sounds odd has anyone else found it in theirs ?
  17. Is this some kind of coded communication, cloak and dagger stuff. MI5 have been notified. Switch to the secure channel if it is.
  18. There's a couple there I haven't done yet
  19. We have our milk delivered in glass bottles and the milkman collects them and leaves us another full one, controversial I know but it's how we like to do things.
  20. It ought to be sold like petrol where you can take your can and have it filled. It bugs me that the containers are not recycled in this way. I hate wasting something useful.
  21. I haven't had Pfanners but I have had lots of builders gloves and the rubber peels off the cheap ones in short order. The best ones I've had didn't have a maker name but they were reinforced in the joint between the thumb and forefinger where the cheap ones always wear first. The ones I have at present are grey cut resistant Gripz ones and have been good for a freebie from a friend.
  22. Locations don't show under avatars any more, is this optional ? Just the county would be a plus to give a clue where someone is selling or needs something.
  23. Wasted on 4" wood then, I asked about chain speed not power Bill.
  24. What's the chain speed like on them. The cut looks like it was done by a beaver.
