    Jokes???

We went to the zoo the other day and all they had was a small dog. It was a Shitzu. Sometimes I like to use big words. I don't know what they mean but I think it makes me seem more scatological.
  2. Why not mine their own ore and smelt it to make the steel for the machine if we're going to those extremes If he said our stuff is crap but buy it anyway would that make everybody happy ? Of course they say their stuff is best it's how marketing works. I've only bought a few files from them and not had any problems, quick delivery and nothing wrong with the product. I dare say the chipper firms buy their teeth in from the cheapest bulk supplier that can make them to their specification and want you to buy their replacements to maintain their profit margins after they lose the machine to your control.
  3. https://www.gov.uk/invoicing-and-taking-payment-from-customers/payment-obligations
  4. The primer bulb is directional. Make sure you plug it in the right way round it pulls through the carb.
  5. It seems to happen a lot over there Alex, you seem to be busy. Keep up the good work and the videos.
  6. I don't care what they say about you Mick, you are a man with good taste.
  7. Disconnect the kill switch wire from the coil and see if you have a spark.
  8. Watch a few Youtube videos about what you want to find, they are good sources of instructions. I've mended my own saws for a while now and also done phones and tablets following videos, saved a lot on repair costs and got a few good toys along the way.
  9. Is it for Bonsai ?
  10. I've been out walking and noticed the sun looks like a warning light. It's unseasonably warm here in Derbyshire as well. There's a good picture of it in the BBC article
  11. Before our smooth haired fox terrier we had a wire haired and all he ever thought of was humping I like terriers, a friend of mine breeds Borders and Patterdales.
  12. We had a smooth Fox Terrier that was like that, nothing was safe even birds. She used to hide under the shed and bum rush them when they came to the pond for a drink. She never got the hang of squirrels though, thought they disappeared when they went up a tree.
  13. He was giving it a kiss ? He was making a Rudd for his own back. It wasn't his in Tench un to swallow it.

    Shingles

I had it on my head and forehead and the doctor said it could take up to 3 months to clear. I was told to go straight back in if it got as far as my eye. I got in early as I had had it before after treatment for TB so I recognised the symptoms. It was a few years ago now but it has caused some nerve problems on my scalp and sometimes it feels like something is crawling on my head, strange unnerving feeling. It's a recurrence of chickenpox virus which remains in your system. You have my sympathy as it can be painful. A friend of mine got the rash and I told him what it was so he got in early for treatment but he said he had never had chickenpox. The doctor confirmed he had shingles and said he had done the right thing getting in quickly.
  15. How much oil did you put in there ? No wonder it was locked up. Good that it's sorted now get the woodshed filled.
  16. About 13 miles if you want to get a second opinion on it. I'm in Clay Cross. If you want a professional opinion there's Belmont Stihl dealer in South Normanton.
  17. I'm about 5 miles other side of Alfreton , my wife sometimes delivers parts to Don de Rosa in Heanor on Saturdays..
  18. I like the old 0 series Stihls because the parts are still available and the saws are usable. Old 036 was £120 and just needed carb kit, fuel pipe and choke lever and 044 was same price and spent about £50 to get it running and it's a good saw. You just have to be a bit sympathetic and like tinkering to use old stuff I think.
  19. Get some brick acid in the cylinder to fizz the aluminium off it. It might look smooth when you wet and dry it but there may be some transfer left in any grooves. I use something like 240 grit aluminium oxide paper with WD40 to clean it up and does a good job of glaze busting for the new rings to bed in.
  20. If I were you I would get someone who knows what they are doing to take a look at it for you. Pouring petrol in every orifice isn't a recognised remedy for a stuck saw. You fitted a new ignition module, is it catching the flywheel and is the ergo start working ? A six year old could pull my mate's MS181 over and if you are not sure where the clutch is are you confident to pull the top end off ? Watch a few youtubes and look online for similar problems then have a go at it.
  21. Can you film it while you do it and stick it up on Youtube ? You'd be my hero.
  22. It's ticking over and running the chain with no load so it probably just looks and sounds like it's running fast.
  23. Sounds like the clutch if it stalls under brake.
  24. Sorry, the difference is it's an October harvest moon. The harvest moon is the full moon nearest the Autumn equinox, what do they harvest in Spring ? and usually occurs in September but is late this year. Telegraph article explains it well I think
  25. What's the difference ? You have to convince the market that they need whatever you are selling
