  1. The bar oiling system is pumped not driven by crank case pressure. When you say the oil isn't really flowing how much oil is coming out of the bar feed hole ? It does only creep out of there not come out in a jet. Try some thinner oil.
  2. Be sure to put some paper and kindling under them for the authentic look ๐Ÿ‘
  3. There's a stop pin that you punch in to let the adjuster turn a bit further on some big saws
  4. Husqvarna T540i XP is our most powerful battery-powered top-handle chainsaw, ... X-Precision Laminated bar .325โ€ mini PIXEL 1.1mm Small bar mount. If it fits the criteria any manufacturer's bar should work, is it the correct pitch ? Contact chainsawbars and ask what you should have.
  5. I don't like them. ๐Ÿ˜‰ I've tried a few and they come loose.
  6. Do all the battery Makita rear handle saws have the idiot's chain tensioner ? If they do I don't want one.
  7. I use them for firewood cutting on my Husqvarna 135. They are cheap enough so I have half a dozen, plenty of standbys for when you hit a nail or a stone and they last well. I use them till I have 3 or 4 to sharpen then do them with the Lidl sharpener.
  8. Did you keep the rings on the locating pin on the piston, did the cylinder go back easily ?
  9. Some of them have new plugs in already, three should tide me over
  10. Oil pump worm drive pinion ?
  11. I bought 3 BPMR7A plugs the other day just for such occasions, under ยฃ5 for all three well worth keeping a few spares in.
  12. That he doesn't want you as a customer ? That would be my take if he'd done it to me.
  13. Perhaps he was trying to tell you something
  14. It's not glued and you need to remove the carb to clean it. Watch some youtube you'll soon get the hang of it.
  15. So on that note bearings are not really needed ? 261 was a manufacturing problem nothing to do with the bearing, I'm not going to stick IMHO on the end. The bearing works for a living on tickover or when you get the chain wedged and don't let off the throttle.
  16. The sprocket takes it, when the clutch is engaged the bearing is just acting as a spacer.
  17. Mine uses E clips Alphabetically far superior to C clips
  18. Who was it from ? Looks like Time Team dug it up ๐Ÿ˜
  19. It's like p!ss it would run straight off before it went round the bar. It's supposed to recirculate not get used up like bar oil
  20. They only contract to where they were before they got hot though so if they were not too tight before you started cutting they should not cause any damage.
  21. They probably prefer the old style fuel caps ๐Ÿ˜‚
  22. Or it might set fire to your saw, it's a win win either way. The saw works or you need to get a new one ๐Ÿ˜„
  23. The positive air flow from the flywheel should push air out through the gap as it feeds to the filter area. If you don't like the look of the saw send it back.
  24. It's definitely going to get dusty and dirty when you use it. I don't think I would even have noticed that and it would be getting used to see if it was any good. Have you had the cover off to see if it goes back on any different. Once it's been warm it might change shape and fit better.
