  1. It's the opposite way round at our local petrol station.
  2. 545 would be the obvious replacement but it's not really an upgrade. What do you want, a bigger saw or just newer ?

    Aspen 40:1 mix

I worked on a council gardening team and we used to mix with straight 30 grade and give it a good shake before you top up.

    Aspen 40:1 mix

I'd dispute this until I saw it with my own eyes, all I've found with over oiling is they make more smoke. You keep doing what you are doing and I'll stick with mine. ? Ask the pros on here if they spend more than they need to, someone who has actually worn a saw out not us weekend warriors.

    Aspen 40:1 mix

We used to use JLO 2 stroke mowers that would run on just about anything you put in them as long as it was oil and petrol and they started no trouble and just kept going. They beat Flymo hands down. I run a couple of saws that say 25:1 on Aspen 2 and they are working fine with it so why add any more ?
  6. I blame global warming ?
  7. Threebond does it, or Hermetite red
  8. It's the way to enlightenment grasshopper
  9. If a big bar pinches in the cut you will be stuck, if the trunk is going to roll on top of one, one is the wrong side of it.
  10. It is very clean though, not like my MS 460.
  11. Round here they are Oss flies Nasty things, one poisoned my thumb a few years back and it's only just recovered.
  12. Plasmas only work on conductive material (metal) and need an earth connection.

    Husqvarna 592 xp

Not seen any taken with a turnip with the flash attachment yet either so the potato photato is the best option so far.
  14. I hope you mean "for" the women you work with ?
  15. FR Jones says not in stock at the moment.
  16. I had that happen. It wouldn't go until I had stripped the carb and thoroughly cleaned all of it. It was like glue inside the metering diaphragm.
  17. Not according to their website
  18. Nobody has the 550xp mk 2 in stock, they are reporting out till 30/11/2020 all the shops I've looked at.
  19. Radmore and Tucker and Garden Machinery Direct both show them as in stock, Sam Turner and sons have 3 in stock according to their web page.
  20. No, it's just this thread ?
  21. Oh right, anything I've got with a rim sprocket has a cup washer and E clip.
  22. Do you have the E clip and washer that go on the crank to hold the clutch drum ? I don't see it in your picture.
  23. Have you bumped off your neighbour and now wish to dispose of the evidence ?
  24. He put it in the Chainsaw section because they are chainsaw boots, classic thinking. He is one of a kind ?
