  1. This chainsaw is useless it hardly cuts anything. Pass it here let me have a go. Bloody hell what's that noise it makes ? That's the engine 😲
  2. You need an axe for chopping up firewood 👍

    You'll probably get a MS460 for that on eBay, I'd buy a 660 for £450 even though I don't need one🤣 I have 460

I just put a link up to it, why are you telling me this ? I'm not trying to sell it to you.😏
  5. Top cover and air filter should get you there, you'll have to remove the throttle and choke linkage though.

    About £1000 for the C-M with a 28" bar.

I'm not selling it, just pointing it out. They are not exactly thick on the ground I notice.

There's a very tidy looking MS660 on Gumtree for £725. Nowt to do with me but it might interest someone.
  9. MS391 suddenly lost power, unlike the one my mate had that never had any power 🤪
  10. A friend of mine has been using one of these for a couple of years and really likes it. Pulls well and stops as soon as the trigger is released.
  11. When my 135 was doing the same thing I eventually found it was the oil pump drive sticking on the crank. I reamed it out with some wet and dry on a dowel and greased it and it's been good ever since.
  12. Where do all the bullets land though ?
  13. That's one thing the blacksmith where I used to work told us never to do as they shrink even more when they dry out. Wooden wedge and a metal cross wedge was all he used and our hammer heads never came off. (We did break the shafts but that was not his fault)
  14. I heard you put the wallpaper up with drawing pins in case you move house 😜
  15. It'll recover in my experience. I tried to kill one off for years before I eventually gave up and cut it off at the base, it still put suckers up from the roots into the lawn 6 feet away.
  16. What, that you are right handed ?🤪
  17. Get some thinner oil for the winter, put a drop of petrol in with yours to thin it and see if it comes through then. Drop sopme food colouring in it and see if it colours the bar at all.
  18. As long as you sharpen up to the top and not down into the gullet you should be fine.
  19. Black smoke is usually excess fuel or probably something built up in the exhaust.
  20. MS 200 back handles used to be the wanted saw for carvers and always fetched good money, has it changed ?
  21. I've still got some left from the last lot I bought, I even got some bubbles left in the snake oil.
  22. But then the scabbard could be a sheath. I'm getting confused, it doesn't take much these days.
  23. It's the opposite way round at our local petrol station.
  24. 545 would be the obvious replacement but it's not really an upgrade. What do you want, a bigger saw or just newer ?

    Aspen 40:1 mix

I worked on a council gardening team and we used to mix with straight 30 grade and give it a good shake before you top up.
