  1. Yes it would suck air in through the base gasket gap.
  2. That will be my response now, "Tell it to Dominic F***ing Cummins"
  3. Last boggy 171 I looked at was caused by the metering arm set too low.
  4. Use PU adhesive not silicone, you won't need to weld it.
  5. They are queuing that long to get into the local recycling centre, at least they are at home waiting for their jobs to be done
  6. Sounds like a 70s pop star I think ?
  7. New saws ??
  8. Domestic saws are good enough for us weekend warriors and don't need to cost a fortune, you can get a Husqvarna 120 ii for £132 from a few suppliers and that includes delivery at most of them.

    Husqvarna 39r

A WA/WT kit on ebay is about £3 from China.
  10. A little Hunter Hawk about 14 years ago, multifuel it's still in the front room. It only goes on about 4 hours in the evening in winter and is a nice addition to the room. It's a bit dated now but we like it. It works well on coal or coke and with wood it is easy enough to live with but it doesn't hold a lot of fuel so you have to keep chucking wood on a piece at a time. Controls are a bit all or nothing and you can turn it down really low once it gets warmed up. It's made of thick steel with a cast iron door and minimal fire brick.
  11. What do they taste like then ?
  12. Run it like you hired it, no need to break in and they are not designed to run part throttle. You can run a rich mixture but the modern saws with auto tune or limiters on the adjuster screws pretty much put paid to that.
  13. Now get the blowlamp and kill them with fire
  14. Looks like they used the same oil for bar and mix. The barrel looks like aluminium deposit not scoring and should clean up nicely. What did the plug look like ? The top looks like it's been running weak.
  15. It looks well dead. Dig it out with a mini digger and pull it over then get someone in to cut it up.
  16. Hello Eric, heads up this is the chainsaw section about different types of chainsaw. There's a Welcome new members thread in the general chat at the top of the forum for you to introduce yourself to everyone.
  17. I looked at the 12 ton machines but decided on a taller machine to save my back and the ability to tilt it into the upright position for big rings is another advantage I am happy with.

It would be quicker to write China if that's what it means ? 10 or 11 tooth sprockets ? you're going to need longer chains to fit those. Were they on eBay ?
  19. So general consensus is you'll be alright just don't eat a lot of it
  20. Glass half empty kind of guy are you donnk ? ? On the bright side again it's only 228 days to Christmas ?
  21. We had a hedgehog trapped in the netting my wife put up to stop cats from crapping in the veg. I had to cut it free and we put it in a barrel and fed and watered it for a few hours before I let it go in the rough ground over the wall. It was really troughing worms out of the compost bin and dog biscuits, man it could eat. ?
  22. Saw some swifts on Thursday 7th May so they are about same as last year but I went down the farm this weekend for some eggs and there are swallows nesting in the barn with young uns so they have been here a while.
  23. Me too, there were loads of broom and gorse where we played as kids.
  24. I've never read a bad review of any of the Rock Venom machines and in their videos on Youtube they look good.
  25. Didn't bother yet as there are pictures on the eBay item in the link and if you go to the Woodman store website there are the same pictures. There are videos on Youtube but they show it in ideal conditions with perfect wood, the stuff we were splitting was gnarly and knotted and it went straight through it all. Park the splitter near the heap so you aren't walking all over the shop. The splitter has a different operating twin lever system and only one table but I made one for the other side.
