  1. Oil pump worm drive pinion ?
  2. I bought 3 BPMR7A plugs the other day just for such occasions, under £5 for all three well worth keeping a few spares in.
  3. That he doesn't want you as a customer ? That would be my take if he'd done it to me.
  4. Perhaps he was trying to tell you something
  5. It's not glued and you need to remove the carb to clean it. Watch some youtube you'll soon get the hang of it.
  6. So on that note bearings are not really needed ? 261 was a manufacturing problem nothing to do with the bearing, I'm not going to stick IMHO on the end. The bearing works for a living on tickover or when you get the chain wedged and don't let off the throttle.
  7. The sprocket takes it, when the clutch is engaged the bearing is just acting as a spacer.
  8. Mine uses E clips Alphabetically far superior to C clips
  9. Who was it from ? Looks like Time Team dug it up 😝
  10. It's like p!ss it would run straight off before it went round the bar. It's supposed to recirculate not get used up like bar oil
  11. They only contract to where they were before they got hot though so if they were not too tight before you started cutting they should not cause any damage.
  12. They probably prefer the old style fuel caps 😂
  13. Or it might set fire to your saw, it's a win win either way. The saw works or you need to get a new one 😄
  14. The positive air flow from the flywheel should push air out through the gap as it feeds to the filter area. If you don't like the look of the saw send it back.
  15. It's definitely going to get dusty and dirty when you use it. I don't think I would even have noticed that and it would be getting used to see if it was any good. Have you had the cover off to see if it goes back on any different. Once it's been warm it might change shape and fit better.
  16. That looks like it's been run for a long time with the brake on. I'd renew the lot, clutch, drum and bearing.
  17. They need to read the manual.
  18. As if ! When have you ever heard a vegan telling everyone they're vegan ? Coeliac vegan non smoker would be a nightmare 😱

Not shaving Ryan's privates on DVD ?
  21. Only in hot weather My Lidl grinder works fine for my weekend warrior activities cutting rough and dirty timber.
  22. Is the wheel a proper size for the unit ? It may have a larger centre hole and be running eccentrically.
  23. Most start off with 1.25 to 1.5 turns on both screws, what you have there will be rich on both screws
  24. Deep sockets are a godsend for jobs like this. If you get one that covers the outside of the seal but doesn't fit in the hole so you only go flush that's perfect.
