  2. They'd be straight on the disability, don't encourage them.
  3. Irony is American for "something made of iron" Sarcasm's what they buried Tutankhamen in isn't it ?

I richened the L screw up which slows the tick over a bit and then speeded the tick over up and it's good now. I have heard a few say the 135 is hard to start and mine was a bit hit or miss till I adjusted it.

I bought a Husqvarna 135 before I started reading arbtalk and I don't have any problems starting it. I bought a splined driver and adjusted the carburetor after it has between run for a while and had no problem starting from cold or when hot. For under £200 I am pleased with it but if I had been on here before I bought it I would probably have spent more and got something I didn't really need just to cut firewood. I have since repaired my old Dynamac so could probably say I didn't really need to buy the husky but what fun would that have been . Buy something you can afford and get on with the job.

  7. Dynamite ?
  8. Our local insurance broker has a similar number to ours just one digit different and we often get calls for them. I could have sold no end of insurance. My favourite is when they ask for a quote before I get chance to tell them they have a wrong number, I always give them Hamlet's soliloquy or Richard III
  9. I was expecting teddy bears
  10. I have a problem with right shoulder and bought a 4 ton splitter and it works alright but it's not fantastic. I cut big lumps with the saw and use wedges and a lump hammer for tough bits the splitter can't manage.
  11. How do you know ? You could have been really really fick if you hadn't climbed But could that be the reason they were intelligent ?
  12. Offer him the money for the equipment and make your own name and website. Has he any documented enquiries evidence, out of 2 or 3 a day you might still not get any follow up and if he has not replied to any of them they will be wary if any correspondence turns up out of the blue, I would anyway. Is he as lax with the other two businesses ?
  13. Why would it need Lead replacement ? Four strokes need it to stop valve recession but two strokes don't have that problem. Lightning was 106cc wasn't it and the super 137cc ?
  14. It was recorded as accidental death but the wasps meant to do it so it should be murder. I hate the things and have a phobia about them and avoid instances by keeping well away or killing them on sight. I know they are just doing what is natural for them but it doesn't help. I have been stung quite a few times and don't suffer any extreme reaction and feel sorry for the family who have to deal with this tragic loss when he should have been enjoying his holiday.
  15. I can't understand that either, so much easier to use than Bumtree or Preloathed
  16. It does look like a surface grinding machine wheel rather than an edge but the rpm of 1650 is high. That there is Heath Robinson at his peak
  17. We get shield bugs on the back garden and they are bright green almost fluorescent sometimes. They don't half have sticky feet
  18. With braces Sorry, I'll get me coat.
  19. Rizla king size red I thought straight away.
  20. White aluminium oxide around that size about £150 to £170. I can't see anything on google in the exact size but not too far out.
  21. Nowt wrong with Berlingo, car or van.
  22. It's a splitting maul, get someone with an angle grinder to straighten the edge up and put a bit of an edge on it and away you go. I took a chunk out of my cheap maul and had to take 1/2" off the cutting edge. After I sharpened it I found it worked far better than it ever had before.
  23. Mad4mowers in Sheffield sell 365 with 18" bar at £518.40 plus post.
