  1. You can buy a Moulinex but you need a special permit to buy a professional like a Kenwood.
  2. Beech/Birch hybrid variety. There should be lots of interest in this from Kew Gardens
  3. Supposed to say "for spares" I think.
  4. Two blokes were outside our house doing a repair on an electrical cable, not for me I might add just in the street. I was going outside and one of them said " Is there a cafe handy for a cuppa round here ?" and I was offering him directions when his mate said "No you're supposed to say I'll get the kettle on if you want a brew". I was so impressed I made them one.
  5. I took a similar size cherry down in my garden years ago and killed the stump then dug it out a couple of years later without too much trouble but it was a big hole.
  6. Two sugars though
  7. Would you be allowed to take it down if it had a rat's nest in it ? Grey squirrels are just fancy rats with better PR.
  8. They could check it just as easily by putting £1 into your account. I've bought fuel at Tesco when I had a good discount, paid with card and they never took any money to authenticate my account.
  9. Out of those we do use Whatsapp quite a lot. If you're in WiFi you can send free text or call on the iPhone to other Whatsapp users. [ame] [/ame]
  10. Glue a sheet of 240 wet and dry to a sheet of glass or some flat worktop, spray some WD on it and rub the blade flat on it. Turn it over and do the other side. The blade will get a bit thinner but it will get sharper.
  11. Nobody ever offered me money or food on the street, what am I doing wrong ? A woman in Tesco offered me some cheese on a little paper plate the other day but she was giving it to everyone so it didn't make me feel special I don't do facebook or twitter, never have done and I don't like the "competitions" where you have to "like us on facebook" to enter a draw to win whatever they are trying to flog you. She wasn't shouting nein, nein was she ? Are you sure you'd gone to the right address ?
  12. You buy some 5mm round bar and some 25x3mm flat strip and weld it up out of that.
  13. Cut them up on a bandsaw and show the figuring on them and they would sell on eBay as handle blanks.
  14. I'll have 3 at £170 each please. No make it 4, blow the expense
  15. The CDi is a capacitor discharge ignition (coil) on the other end of the HT lead bolted next to the flywheel under the starter cord side of the saw. If the spark is weak it may not be jumping the plug gap under pressure. Try warming the plug with a blow lamp and put a spoon of fuel straight down the plug hole and stick it together quick then pull it over no choke just to see if the spark is working, it should fire over a few times.
  16. Can't have cost much, you're talking about a bloke who wouldn't spend money on a splined screwdriver for carb adjusters here

    Stihl 881?

Did one of them have to run backwards ?
  18. It will be electronic ignition with a cdi module (£43 from McCulloch) so it will not have a condenser. Doubtful if it will be that if you have a spark.
  19. I have a Husqvarna 135 similar saw and I bought a splined driver for about £6. It's hardly sneak tactics you can adjust them with a Biro stem or an electrical connector on the end of a flat screwdriver or take the screws out and cut a slot in them.
  20. Does that mean brave men climb with wet ropes and no trousers
  21. I like Mumford they make some good and varied music, nice listening.
  22. It's average, What makes it a classic ?
  23. Watch out for the spring when you take the lever out. They are sneaky little beggars.
  24. We had our first Peacock butterfly yesterday sunning itself on the patio table and we saw a couple of Meadow brown as well which are the first on here this year.
  25. Yes but whatever you do don't switch it on Hang it up and stick a fan on to blow it dry if you need it dry sooner than it will dry naturally.
