A few years ago some ne'er do wells were using the waste ground behind our house to burn old furniture and carpet on a regular basis. We phoned the local councillor and he came out just as the smoke was at it's densest and he called the police on the spot. They were made to put the fire out and served with an injunction not to light fires anywhere in the area on pain of financial penalty. They lived round here a couple of streets away and a bloke I worked with at the time also had the police to them as they lived across the road from him and were burning insulation off wire in a chest freezer, it looked like Dante's inferno round there and the smoke was toxic.

After it gets so big nothing grows at the bottom then it looks like a row of trees too close together.

One of those gas powered burners for weeds, they have them in Aldi and Lidl on offer sometimes. You could do flambés to go with your gourmet lunch as well.

The final selling fee on vehicles is 1% with a minimum of £20 and a maximum of £30, you must have listed it in the wrong place That is for private sellers, it's 0.9% with a minimum £17.39 and a maximum £30.43 for business. A friend of mine sells a few motorbikes on there and he does alright. No final fee on classifieds.

That looks good for soaking your feet in A friend of mine bought a little unit from Maplins and it works well, only about £50. Small at .75 litre but it does what he needs.

It looks like a tommy or claw hatchet for pulling nails, not on it's original handle. Belknap Bluegrass or True Temper made them along with a lot of other American firms.

It has 1186 on it so it's even older. It's definitely an heirloom piece that though. For the OP if you can use it one handed it's a hatchet not an axe

I don't think of Stihl as old unless they start with 0 like my 036 or a 2 if they are Husqvarna like the 266xp and they are still good saws.

Choke and fast idle ? Once it coughs on choke the choke is shut off and fast idle engaged. It could be the linkage to the carb that needs tweaking, the piece of springy rod probably lost it's tension and needs bending a bit. The other one sounds like it might need to be a bit richer if the carb is alright.

He did you a favour there I bought my 036 locally on Gumtree and was a bit suspicious when the seller wanted to meet me in a lay-by but it was his dinner break and the lay-by was outside the factory gate and the saw ran and has been a good one so far with a bit of work.
