  1. He bought it off his dad for £60 more than it cost on eBay and gave his dad the Echo back, how do you work this out ? It's going to cost him to get rid of the tool free tensioner as well.
  2. Do you need to replace the tensioner as well for one with screw head instead of the wheel thing and buy the nut to hold the cover.
  3. When my niece was little she used to make up little songs and sing them all day. The one that always sticks in my head over 30 years later is "I've never seen a chicken in a dustbin lorry" just repeated over and over.
  4. I'd make the hole bigger to get at the wire and reinforce the connection then put something back over the top, I hate "sealed for life" stuff. In the words of Douglas Adams The major difference between a thing that might go wrong and a thing that cannot possibly go wrong is that when a thing that cannot possibly go wrong goes wrong it usually turns out to be impossible to get at and repair. 5. Read the second post, ADW says it's an Oregon bar with the problem ?

    Subsidence

My brother in law bought for cash a house with subsidence and got it for a song. He had a problem with the neighbours trees, a row of 6 40ft Leylandii 4ft from the gable end. He asked about paying to remove them himself and they said they they wanted some ridiculous figure in compensation for the loss of the trees so he went to the council and a solicitor and in the end the neighbours had to foot the bill for the removal. He had the gable underpinned and had no problem getting insurance or selling when he moved.
  7. Or are they far away ? [ame] [/ame]

    Sat Nav

I bought a tomtom start 25 with free updates from Argos last week. Not got traffic updates but it has lane assist. My old one was way out of date and tried to take us through pedestrian precincts and missed new slip roads so it has been pensioned off. It tried to take us through an estate but there were pop up bollards on two of the roads to only allow buses.
  16. They all seem to go in similar spot.

    Trailers

I have grandad rights on my licence b but a front of mine did his trailer test end of last year and he said it was just like talking the car test again. It cost him about £600 but he pulls an Ifor and we fetched a Discovery from Cannock with it last week. Do the test of you needed to pull loads of logs worthwhile delivering, it will be worth it in the long run. I pull a little unbraked trailer with the Berlingo and if it has any weight in it pushes you on downhill runs.
  19. I'm say here in front of our Hunter stove which is made of 10mm boiler plate and was not that expensive. What size stove are they looking at for the kitchen ? There are lots of good alternatives out there
  20. Are you king Louie from Jungle Book ? I am similar though so have to go up on chest size to get the arm length I need.

    Tiny echo!

That looks like a copy of my 25cc Chinese top handle I bought on eBay
  22. I gave a hand to move a scrap Disco onto a trailer on Tuesday and it was thoroughly stuck with the back brakes seized on. We used a little winch from Aldi anchored to a tree with a strop and pulled it round and out of it's resting place to get it hung on the 90. The little winch did it with hardly any effort.
  23. It had to be an 039 though didn't it ? They are just awkward.
  24. $82.59c in American money for a new one that's about £60 it you can find one.
  25. PU adhesive and a piece of aluminium plate stuck to it. Sikaflex or Tiger Seal are common makes but generic are cheaper.
