  2. Hi I did but to be fair someone who said they are like 20min away would be up for it and I didn’t want to step on his toes and Exeter is a hour and half away prob 2 hrs by the time I find the address ,but maybe a PM in case he don’t do the job

Hi everyone,so having got myself a woodland mill and a 25 inch wide thicknesser , I am now skint and all my work has dried up ,so if anybody wants anything making or knows someone who does I would very much appreciate the work , I need to buy a 3 phase converter to run my new thicknesser. Climate change is with us for sure pictures of thin starving polar bears don’t lie never saw pictures like that in my 20,s but our governments refuse to install legislation to even try and do anything about it UN agenda 21 ,geo engineering the use of depleted uranium shells ,what the FUCK are people thinking,the planet will survive but not so sure about society as we know it ,Poverty starvation and homelessness all exist in Britain today the government seems unwilling or unable to do anything about it so therefore we demand the abolition of the dogmatic archaic institutions that try and govern over us Their law has not created order our Anarchy will not create chaos. Thats something I wrote when weighting for an Anarchist news paper many yrs ago seems more relevant now than when I first wrote it ,hope some of you appreciate it Cheers Mark
  7. Cool nice idea we do similar with castle towers and did a big lighthouse that lit up that was cool but it struggled to find waterproof lights at a good price . Cheers Mark

Hi I just picked up a hm130 on a trailer for 3 grand it’s used but a good mill ,I have been given a hydraulic power pack I have a donkey engine so now need a ram and some welding and will have a hydraulic log lift happy days,putting the roof on the new leanto for it to live under so very soon I will be looking for nice saw logs

  11. Nice,where did you get the old lab benches from are there any more of them , we have one that has 2 one meter brass rulers one on either side we use it as a display table in our gallery,so would like to match something on the other wall. Cheers Mark
  12. Yeah nice table , nice work bet You are chuffed have a big slab of Plane for a one piece table top just need some 4x4 or 6x6 for the legs and frame if anybody has any going spare. Cheers Mark

Hi I have already ordered the bushes only £30 including delivery,so can’t hurt to change them ,will defo look at the follow wheel ,so my next question is what type of bands to use I am reading a lot of good things about Ripper 37 bands ,what type do you use ,sorry if I am asking obvious questions but never had a bandmill before , but no time to play with it for at least another week doing my head in I have some nice logs to mill,English Elm ,SpaltedBeech ,western red, can’t wait. That looks like a nice bit of kit but bet it’s expensive as it’s wood mixer ,I was offered a 4ft wide planer thicknesser by someone on hear a few yrs back but didn’t have the money unfortunately wonder if he still has it , just sorted a deal on a 25 inch thicknesser but can’t have it till November and will need a 3phase converter or genny if anybody has one they don’t want.
  18. Thanks mate , I have just ordered some nylon bushes for the uprights on the saw carriage as it’s quite wobbly only £30 so I think a service and new bushes,bearings,blade then it’s just a learning curve. Thanks Mark

Hi guys what sort of cut are you getting from your woodland mills , I have just bought a hm130 and the cut is quite rough I can get a smoother cut with my Alaskan is it set up wrong ,could some of you please post some pics of some boards you have milled so I can compare with what I am getting.   21. Hi I run 404 on my Alaskan always have and a nice Sugi bar been milling like that for 5/6yrs now ,good luck and have fun ,too F###ing hot for milling at the mo at a show yesterday and Saturday bloody melting in my Kevlar !hats off to the tree monkeys this weather

Hi I think we should get in touch with the minister for trade and say hey we want the same tools available hear ,I remember it was the same with crash helmets, the Simpson Starwars was tested to drag racing standards in the US and at the time were stricter than the road safety standards hear but they were banned now they are everywhere even that bloody guy the Stig has one .
  24. Hi Roy’s yep I used a microwave transformer,but I am on the lookout for a transformer from oil burning central heating as I have been told they are safer the neon transformers there are 2 types and only the one type is any good but can’t remember what one sorry. Cheers Mark
