  2. Have a look at Arblease only came across them today! I am in exactly the same position!
  3. Yes good point, using a Quad at the moment which is a bit light, keep falling down rabbit holes as the engine is outboard.......could do with a shorted draw bar as turning in the wood is a bit tight.
  4. I have a Jensen 518 turntable, thinking of taking the chipper off the trailer and mounting it on a tracked dumper as all my work is "off road". Question is, does anybody want a braked turntable trailer? This is just an idea at developement phase at moment, curious to see if trailer has any value. Also have to source a tracked dumper capable of carrying 1 ton and sell the dumper bin..... Maybe I should go back to bed and annoy the wife
  5. I am sure many will be along with diff companies, here's my 2 peneth. TGS Bristol products
  6. Did you try and start it with the grass box installed? Theres a cut out switch on the top right hand side, viewed from the back, this may be the problem. Pop the grass box on or stick the switch down if possible Regards SG
  7. Fancy getting locked in with all those angle grinders inside Screwfix.
  8. This is a curved deck in front of a chalet, absolutely lethal when wet, now the tree has gone its going to be reduced to a straight veranda. Looks like just a case of running a saw round it to achieve the curve.
  9. I'm so glad I am old lol, this looks so confusing.....
  10. As above on the spraying, rotovating, raking or a turf cutter but then a lot of waste. On the new turfing front have a look at Rolawn, they do turf in 13 metre "cotton reel strips" on a "hose roller" which they lend you, easy to walk along and lay. These pics are a bit extreme but shows what can be done.
  11. Couple on interesting trucks on Gumtree in my area Transit toolbox/tipper Ford transit | Polegate | Gumtree Iveco double cab /tipper /6.5ton Iveco Crew Cab Tipper 7 seater 2.8 Diesel unijet | Bognor Regis | Gumtree I really must stop looking at trucks.... but it might be useful to someone else.
  12. One redeeming factor, found a 7/8 1/4 socket and a Froe 1194 under the floor!
  13. Moved into new place last Oct, thought I had better tackle Shed no 4 today before it falls down!
  14. I just bought a plastic one from Lidl £39.99 3 yr warranty, mesh vent in rear. I am used to 50ft Polytunnels but as someone said, its by the back door next to the tap, will see how it goes this year,
  15. Good Morning! Go to Boots The Chemists or Ebay and see if they have some "Autan" very effective, I use it when hunting in the woods in Germany. Regards SG
  16. Thanks for the input guys, think I will run the polesaw on the thick tacky stuff for the time being. Found the oil usage the same, chain looks nice and black and the bar seems to stay clean on the Semi Synth stuff.
  17. Thought I would give some Stihl Semi Synth Chain Oil a try, very thin compared to the old treacle I am used too. Problem is its leaking out of the saws when there resting overnight. My pole saw extension hangs on the wall and when I went to grab it all the shaft was well lubed, having the same problem with two saws on the bench, the oil works fine, lubes the chain well, runs out the same time as the fuel, so thats all ok. Anybody else had this? Regards SG
  18. All sorts here vehicles, parts and accessories, forums farmingmachines.co.uk brightwells.com exmod.co.uk 4x4solutions.co.uk manforlandrovers.co.uk landyzone.co.uk hope this helps SG
  19. You got to hand it to our friends in Eastern Europe, theres us worrying about Autotune, he's not bothered!
  20. As your getting the chassis cab from Bristol, why not get a price from TGS in Bristol, they built the tipper back for my Transit back in 2004, also fitted a taillift which had not been done to a tipper, usually only fitted to flat beds. Were I to have it today would have a toolbox, etc This was done for gardening, getting mowers and ride ons, on/off, bags of waste. Regards SG
  21. and I keep them all at TN22 1QL......
  22. I think you can tell the age from the serial number my 254xp starts with a 7 so thats 1997, the serial no on the 394xp I think is 3010395 so 1993?. nice saw though. How you "loose" the bar and chain I am not so sure lol!
  23. Just for your info a garage local to me (and no connection) has a variety of interesting trucks, there not cheap ok but a good selection from one place. Go to the "Used Vans" section select "Trucks and Tippers" for Cabstar and Transits select "Used DoubleCabs, Trucks and 4x4 Vehicles" for Pickups SCS 4 Vans - Used Vans For Sale In Eastbourne East Sussex UK Regards SG
  24. Just seen this post, funny enough was using a 36 on Friday, could take it to bits and check for you but won't be back there till next Wednesday, think you have it all under control though.
