    I ran a couple of 536QXE for a number of yrs, changed all the cable,gear box's and roller bearings. To change the drive cable, start at the top, release the adjuster off, unhook cable from control bar, remove the bolt in the grey plastic cover over the drive shaft with a 10mm socket (this may be stuck and need some WD40). You will see the end of the cable going into a lever on top of the roller, might need a pair of water pump pliers to hold against the spring, remove old cable and replace with new, hope this helps.

    Just keep an eye on the battery terminal posts, had an Electric Gator catch fire couple of times. Have seen a few of these inc the diesel version on Ebay atm.

    I'm 44"" waist 6ft, use B&Q chaps as I don't climb about £80 long belt on them

    This was in 2000 1997 Transit chassis cab 44,000 miles £8500.00 Respray to white from BT Grey 500.00 Ali body & 4 ram tipper 2000.00 Del Tail Lift 1000.00 Tipper would tip 1.5 tons, Tail lift would lift 500kgs (Westwood 1600) Mower/Collector Roller Have carried 2 pallets of turf, 72 to a pallet so couple of tons. Had 180 litre Hornbeam full size trees 12-15ft tall made the tail lift cough

    Are you aware if you insure a vehicle for "any driver" they class it as a 17 yr old with a drink driving conviction no NCB to cover themselves. found this out by accident when renewing all 3 of us were over 25!

    Here's a picture of my old D90, ex B.T. Chassis Cab, had the body constructed by T G S Truck Bodies Bristol, together with a DEL Slim Jim Tail-lift with a "plant gate" useful for scraping the mud of your boots, 500kgs payload. I used this for garden maintenance , getting ride ons, 1 ton bags of grass clippings on and off etc the tail gate is on pins top and bottom, drops down as a tail lift or leave top pins secured and remove bottom pins to tip.

    Hi guys, just been bought a s/h chipper by one of the Estates I look after, can anyone tell me the "average" litres per hr on diesel? I am guessing 1 Litre per hr but may be wrong. It's going to be working hard to start with clearing up the brash in a wood with 40+ Scots Pine trees that are on the floor. Cheers SG

    The colour is wrong from the start, saw should match the chain guard scabbard, that one looks red/pink, mines just dusty

    Interesting post this, I cut a lot of Leylandii, Privet, Yew, no Hawthorn though, over the years have used Shindaiwa (Pole), Tanaka (single sided), currently using a Stihl KM56 pole, carbon fibre extension with a Ryobi Expandit Hedge Cutter attachment, kept very sharp with a Dremel. This set up seems to work for me.

    Just Google "Plastic Bolts" depending where you are, I bought a few no of yrs ago, 3 yrs since I fitted any Owl Boxes.

    BR86 for beds and borders, BR380 back pack for larger areas, lawns, drives, car parks

    JD 3420 after we removed it from a man hole cover in a field, never did find where it went to!

    As I decided not to work today, herself is going to work on the Bus! Good info from my local bus company on roads in a 20 mile radius of me. Does your local bus company have the same thing where you are? I know for guys out in the countryside its not much help but I found it useful. Brighton & Hove Bus and Coach Company

    One Estate I look after have to fill a wheelbarrow! Fat Balls, Suet Squares, Peanuts, Wild Bird food, Pheasant Mix. Very well looked after

    Try searching online under workshop/storage for rent in your area, I found my stable with light,power and water from a "Land Agent " Rural Workspaces to Rent £65 per calendar month.

    I have used Postcrete in the past but got a slightly different mix from McVeigh Parker, they seem to use pea shingle with the concrete in a separate plastic bag, mixes up just the same but I find the mix fits tighter round the posts.
