1. Yes must be the week for Cuckoos, heard them in a couple of garden/woods, so used to wood pigeons made a nice change.
2. I case any of you are in my neck of the woods, the "Blue Garage" that was closed on the A26 Lewes-Uckfield Road has now reopened as "Local Fuels" red available at the pumps 99.9P, White Diesel 1.36
3. Think I had better check the gearbox oil on my recently acquired 528T! Yikes!
4. My Husky 254XP has just seized on me after 4 months of regular use, sadly on a new pot and piston (Unknown origin) . I think the saw is worth saving as there is nothing else wrong, new bar and chains etc. Was thinking of getting a Meteor set up. Can anyone send me contact details for an Agent.
5. Just to be different I use a KM56 engine with Expandit Pole Saw, Hedge Trimmer, Strimmer. Only because my Ryobi engine ceased to function (you can stop laughing now) so using the old bits up as I replace them with Stihl ones. I have owned 5 KM55 Kombi Systems in the past.
6. I use "Autan" its not a tanning solution though (available in Superdrug or Boots) friend of mine in Germany recommended it to me when we go hunting in the woods over there, yes I too swell up when bitten!
7. I have cut one site 3 times but another is still waterlogged, will be June before I can get a ride on to it.
8. I thought I was doing ok until I watched this Vermeer Skid steer Video S450 TX | Facebook "Also prolong the career expectancy of an ageing work force" Looks like I need one of these are they free on the NHS for oldies?
9. Mine are all from the mid 1960's 1967 Honda CB72 250cc 1966 Ford Cortina GT Savage (2.5 V6 engine, Corsair 2000e Gearbox, Jag Back Axle) 1965 Ford Zodiac MkIII Executive
10. As Chris says the Aldi ones are very good, excellent reception at all times, bass boost, aux input for Ipod or 2 way radio. Useful also is the built in microphone so you do not have to take them off when someone talks to you and yes the battery cover is a pain! They do keep your ears warm as surround the ears completely.
11. That's the VOSA Weigh Bridge Station on the A23 Handcross Hill in the middle of the road works, often has either a Euro Artic or sometimes a Fairground Lorry, the type pulling 2 Trailers in it. not seen anyone Arb related in there before. I go past couple of times a week, luckily in a small van.
12. That's a nice greenhouse decent size. Planted up hanging baskets and troughs round my house. Sunday Roast yum. Making a list of tools/equipment to take tomorrow, 8 tons of pea shingle to lay on the Estate roads and car park lovely!
13. I have a few tools from parents and father in law, hand drills, block planes snedding axe, bill hook. Old tools have a character all of there own I like to look at the ones on the web site timeless tools tool nut woodsmiths store
14. Just wanted to say have recently done my Lantra Chipper course with Richard at Kingswood Training, was with 3 Army lads doing there 4 week "all in" course, great training centre and accommodation.
15. The 400 towing the chipper has 61 miles! The 450 is a 2005 £2495
16. I have use of 2 Kodiak's 400 and 450, the 450 has just arrived, still on Ebay £2495! bigger tyres, high and low gears agri registered which is useful.
17. Think the second one has new rear springs and a very corroded chassis, lots of shot blasting and painting required, from the pics looks like the back panel behind the cab has been resprayed unless they polish it every week. Useful trucks all the same.
18. As Rob says its all relative to the usage, there area approx 2 billion battery electric drills in the world and there average life usage (on paper) is 30 mins....I know all our drills get used more like our chainsaws.
19. East Sussex rock
20. I was thinking of keeping chip munks in it! or at least getting them to buy half a dozen more bunnies.
21. I had to assemble this for a client, came flat packed in 3 large boxes!
22. I have just done my Lantra Wood Chipper course today. The Instructor was telling us how he purchased a chipper and within 5 months it had paid for itself, by (1) less trips to the tip with brash and having to pay to dump it (2) selling the wood chip as garden mulch (3) doing more jobs per day etc. I do understand all about business expenses, using Finance as a tool and also about preferring to pay cash for something.... been there done that.
23.
hi Ashley, cant remember about the price, yes a farm in Uckfield, there's a few places advertising workshops and storage about. I am an Estate Gardener / Woodland Management for 3 places in West Sussex, if I need some tree work done as I don't climb I will give you a shout, all the stuff I cut is mostly already on the floor luckily.

24.
Think someone was asking about yards and I recommended them to Jeremy Courtney the land agents where I rent mine from, never mind nice to hear from you Andy

25. All in a days work down here in Sussex!
