  1. Hello everyone I have a telescopic Sthil polesaw but I was told that you cannot attach a hedge cutter blade to the end but with an Echo polesaw it is possible. Has anyone used one of these and are they any good? Cheers guys
  2. I'm going by the fact that I have a 7ft Leylandii hedge in my back garden and the neighbours hacked back there side really hard and it regrew. Maybe it was a rare occurance. But Yew's definitely do.
  3. Leylandii conifers will actually regrow from old wood. They are one of the few conifers that will do that as well as Yew trees. I think that killing them is extremely unlikely as I've seen others reduced drastically and have been fine.
  4. This is about three-quarters of the way up, maybe a bit more. It was high to me!!
  5. <img src="http://https//fbcdn-sphotos-c-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-ash4/p480x480/381516_10201030164573614_1346539739_n.jpg" alt="381516_10201030164573614_1346539739_n.jpg" />

  6. I got my groundie to take some and they came out blurred so they are useless. Although I got one from my mobile of the view which I will upload.
  7. I had to go at least 80-100ft near the top of this pine tree today to remove some broken/dead branches which were damaged by the winter storms and snow. It's the highest I've been so far and was slightly nervous and excited at the same time.
  8. I think it happens to all of us at some point, I had a Sthil hedgecutter stolen from the back of my van in Billingshurst a while back. It cost me £650 for a replacement.
  9. I had no idea about this law
  10. Well they said my drivers license was not valid for towing a trailer and I have to go on an extra test to be able to tow one. I was lucky as I was let off with a warning.
  11. I was stopped by vosa on the A23 yesterday morning and they went all over my truck and trailer and questioning me about the load I was carrying. Has anyone else had experience with these guys? Would like to hear other stories. Cheers guys
  12. Has anyone had the unfortunate job of cutting down a Crack Willow? If so you will know just like I do about how dangerous it is. I did one today.
  13. Got my biggest tree job to date tomorrow taking a Oak down I'm a little nervous but looking forward to getting the experience!
