  1. Get booked in for training and assessment, it's not difficult but the days training will get it strait in your head what the assessor wants to see. Not sure on price where you are but I did mine 3 years ago in Lincoln for £360 and that included 1.5days training then assessment with vehicle hire. On a side note, you can drive a tractor on a standard car licence
  2. Went to the arb show this year from Lincoln in my 3l rodeo and got 36mpg and most of that was sat at 70 on the motorway
  3. Which one haha. Mountain biking, shooting, chainsaw carving, knife making, fabricating, soon to have rock climbing to add and just generally anything creative that takes my fancy
  4. Hello all, looking to have some t shirts printed and I was wondering, aside from the obvious logo, numbers and email is there anything else I should think about putting on there such and a little blurb something along the lines of "professional tree and hedge care" or do I just keep it simple? Any input will be greatly appreciated George
  5. I have an 06 3l rodeo and highly rate it, it's not a fast truck by any means but put a load behind it and listen to it snort as you hit a hill and it barely slows down. Got 36mpg going from Lincolnshire to the arbshow this year so can't complain about fuel consumption either.
  6. I may get slated for saying this but here goes. My old man said something the other day that I agree with. Instead of just saying yeah come here and we will eventually go and try to sort their country out why not accept them on the basis that those able enough are trained and sent back to win their country back. Let's face it, they want to be here because of the standard of life we have but we only have that because thousands fought and died for it. I'm not saying what's happening isn't terrible cause it is but I feel we shouldn't just give them everything because of it, they should be made to fight for the same quality of life in their country with support from other countries
  7. It's basically just a pair of katana's isn't it
  8. Wouldnt be without my echo cs260tes with an ms150 bar and chain and my husky 550xp on an 18"bar
  9. As the title says, does anyone know the sharpening angles for the jo beau m500 knives and where to get them sharpened? Any info will be great fully receiver Thanks in advance George
  10. Have been running xp for about 3 years and can't say I notice any difference but my husky dealer has warned that not using it will void the warranty and the saw will cook it's self over the space of a few years.
  11. That vids no where to be found now but I remember it well enough to sort it, aside from that it's a great machine . May even get the quick release spout fitted
  12. It is yes and it's a stonker, seriously impressive piece of kit
  13. Think the newest models do, just the original ones that don't I think, don't hold me to that though
  14. Wanting to get my self an action cam to use for tree work and on the push iron and am a little spoilt for choice I think so looking for some suggestions. Wouldn't mind a go pro but can't justify that kind of money on one. I'm looking for one that will record as high resolution as possible obviously, 1080 60p would be nice but it depends on price, musts are time lapse, 720 60/130 and ability to connect with android devices. Currently on my radar are the sj cam 4000/m10 and the xiaomi yi
  15. Any chance you'll be getting any 3/8 .58 skip tooth at any time rob?
  16. Had to wait a few weeks for parts for an echo chainsaw but I think that's to do with countax which is their sipplier, other than that they have been spot on for me
  17. Is there a listing for the 1/4 sprocket for the cs 360 or just the 280 or are they the same?
  18. What they put through in the first 2.5mins I would do in quite literally one armful in my m500 and would take around 10 seconds. Seriously not a good demonstration of what that machine can do
  19. Watch the video...the 562xp is as well balanced on a 24 as a 660 is on a 25. I'll let you decide after watching.
  20. Great post and can relate to a lot of it. I've currently hit a quiet period but it's gradually picking up, thankfully I have plenty away for a rainy day so to speak. Being self employed as a subby/trying to start a business isn't easy and certainly isn't for every one but past experiences have put me off being employed ever again so it's the only way forward for me. Not complaining though, I earn well when I'm busy and can always keep my self ticking over in the quiet times and I enjoy the freedoms I have with being self employed, plenty of hobbies to enjoy and some even aid to a bit of cash flow
  21. Definitely worth the extra cost! Just be cautious when instaling them, if using a post knocker I would suggest some sort of full face screen as every time the weight hits it could spray creosote and also wear gloves and cover your arms, I wound up with creo burns to my arm and face after about 1000m of creo post and rail, it's lethal stuff but still the best treatment for timber. Not sure where you are in the country but may be worth checking price against calders and grandidge in Boston. I'll vouch for the quality of their creo products
  22. Can't say this has happened to mine either. Why not just strip the cat out and tune it to suit, would just have a bit more poke at a guess
