1. The only thing that will definitely do that is electric. I doubt they will be happy if they have to pay for the vet to stitch the nag up!
2. Well put Matt, nasty stuff!
3. Can't say our bugger has chewed the SC posts I put in earlier this year, he had a go at some treated rails until creosoted though. You can still get proper creosote but normally only from farm suppliers/ag traders.
4. Another 👍for GG AT. Great tyre choice for Hilux. https://www.4site4x4tyres.co.uk/4x4-advice/blog/december/grabber-at-vs-grabber-at2-what’s-the-difference
5. Thx Matt I thought so. Unfortunately I'm out of country so can't help! I'll get the Mrs to haggle!! Craig
6. Gents has anyone removed the roll bar and roll 'n' lock cover from 2013 double cab Hilux? I'm having a canopy fitted and Toyota have just quoted my wife an extra 3hrs work! Can it really be that difficult!? Craig
7. The dogs nads! Great stove!!
8. Im looking for a blower/vac. Any recommendations or models to stay away from. Its for general use around the farm, not heavy pro use. Thx in advance Craig
9. Agree Richie, the lack of height on alpines limits tipping options. Some sort of brash grab might be a better option.
10. Have you tried gun shops or Gunmart? Option b, strip the extras off and sell them separately?
11. I think you have to be a member of BASC 12 months before u can use the discount, certainly worth a check first!
12. Good price for a full kit!
13. I think your mate might have been pulling your plonker! Petroleum cheaper than bottled water, no regs on transport. I see it transported in IBCs or even 20L water cooler bottles. I work in some V remote places and the one thing there always is, is petrol.
14. Had mine for 2yrs and it's never missed a beat. As you say it's a bit thirsty. I wouldn't have a manual, I reckon autos the way to go for towing.
15. Every Spring is damp/wet in West Devon! [emoji31] Sent from my iPad using Arbtalk
16. Thx for the advice Graham, think my wife sprayed them last week with Bordeaux mixture! Has that been banned too? Appreciate your advice mate. Craig Sent from my iPad using Arbtalk
17. Taking away the EU bureaucracy is it treatable?
18.
PS just picked up your message- Don't tend to go on the main site that often! Admin!

19.
Hey John, yep 22yrs in RMC, also a PW1. Been out since 2005, initially in UAE with the rest of the blokes and now working in KSA. I work 4/4 week rotation so plenty of time back in Devon. Got a smallholding back there and try and run the place on wood, hence the interest on this forum. Quite a few of the former lads in the trees business, Mark 'Stux' Stucky is a winger of mine, think he mixes Daggers, Trees and stove installing. Also Ginge Booth? Happy Days! Craig Payne

20. Can anyone give me any clue whats affecting my apple and pear trees? And if so is there anything I can do? Most of foliage is affected and trees are starting to shed leaves. Thx Craig
21. Dick Van Dyke on LSD springs to mind!
22. Have a look at Treatex hard wax. Base coat then top coat. Very easy to apply and great finish.
23. I would steer clear of Aga type stoves, they are uncontrollable and guzzle oil at approx 8- 10 litres/day...fine when it's at 40p/litre but at 70p.... That's for a room heater/cooker alone. There are plenty of other options that will still give you the same look, but also controllable separate burners for cooking and heating/dhw. There is certainly no cheap and reliable option though. Why have you discarded solar thermal? Sent from my iPad using Arbtalk
24. Have a look on Navitron website, lots of advice there. We installed a 300L heat bank/store fed from an oil fired Marshall stove (steer clear of Rayburn!) and Dunsley Yorkshire wood-burning boiler stove. The heat bank also has 2 x immersion heaters and is plumbed ready for solar. We have had the system for 5yrs and TBH it's efficient and flexible. My advice on going down the 'wood only' route would be to ensure you realise how much wood you will need and the sweat needed to get it! With reference to the floor, our farmhouse had a traditional stone uninsulated floor, we struggled to get the place warm and the floor was painfully cold. IMHO underfloor insulation and heating is the way to go. Sent from my iPad using Arbtalk
25. You are probably right Will, however.......
