  1. You're worried about irritating radical islamists!! Are you blind to the atrocities being committed!? One of the most stupid comments I have ever read....WTF! Wake up man!! Sent from my iPad using Arbtalk
  2. Exactly my thoughts, more likely to rot off at ground level before etc top rots. You could just dab the end grain with real creosote if you are worried about it.
  3. Is that the thing that takes a CO2 canister like a soda stream?
  4. Allegedly this is good advice that I read somewhere...."Just remember that when the police ask you why you had the shotgun with you, that you thought a fox had triggered the alarm...Again! Also when you looked in his eyes you could see that he was unstable and gonna be violent! Oh and best if the thieving scum is between you and your safe route/exit".
  5. You will get a better reaction phoning up the BBC and get the incident on Caught Red Handed or similar! Or I have to say his name "Jeremy Vine".
  6. Ha Ha yeah I know what you mean about aggressively attacking the end of the air rifle barrel, always gets a giggle from my sick side!!
  7. .410 it is then Cheers M8
  8. As Mark B said, I'm looking for options to dispatch rats caught in a live catch trap. I know what you mean about being harder than it sounds with an air rifle. I have a HW100 Kt but i don't want the Mrs messing with it. I also don't like the float test option! I have two barn cats, they do a good job on mice but they aint interested in big rats that fight back! Thinking about it either the .410 or 9mm garden gun sounds like the best option. Wifey has her shotgun certificate so not a problem! Another excuse to take the wallet to the gun shop!!
  9. Don't delete the tread, its an excellent idea to share security ideas without compromising your own personal security measures. Its worth understanding the basic functions of a Physical Protection System (PSS). There are a myriad of different physical security measures available that can Deter, Detect and Delay an adversary stealing your kit. However without some sort of response from you, its only a matter to time before an adversary defeats your security system or perimeter. For response to be effective it must occur before adversary action has been completed, and ideally before the penetration of your outer perimeter layer has taken place. In layman terms unless you can respond (or Disrupt) to an incident within the time period that the 'delay' factor of your system offers, you wont prevent the incident or catch the culprits. Given enough time any PSS can be defeated. Cdo
  10. Has anyone actually had any experience of these in UK? I saw them at Game Fair last year, look interesting but not cheap!
  11. Anyone use an air pistol? I want something that Mrs Cdo can use to dispatch them in live catch cage when i'm out of country? She's not keen on the swim test method!
  12. Victorinox basic but reliable, not bad looking also.
  13. What will the loader on the compact lift Mick? I'm looking at similar options.
  14. Thanks for the advice chaps, the bucket pins look ok, will get my Agri Eng to have a look at it! It's a 3tonner by the way😉 Craig
  15. Is it possible to repair/recondition the jaws on a quick hitch? I have lots of wear on my hitch on a Hitachi ZX30 and wondering if its repairable or a new hitch job, is so any ideas on what I'm looking at cost wise for both options. Thx Craig
  16. One man's truth is another man's absolute shi*e!😉
  17. Yawn!🙄
  18. DeWalt Extreme are pretty good
  19. 👍👍 I'm one of em!
  20. Go Mac and never look back! They just work!!
  21. The only thing that will definitely do that is electric. I doubt they will be happy if they have to pay for the vet to stitch the nag up!
  22. Well put Matt, nasty stuff!
  23. Can't say our bugger has chewed the SC posts I put in earlier this year, he had a go at some treated rails until creosoted though. You can still get proper creosote but normally only from farm suppliers/ag traders.
  24. Another 👍for GG AT. Great tyre choice for Hilux. https://www.4site4x4tyres.co.uk/4x4-advice/blog/december/grabber-at-vs-grabber-at2-what’s-the-difference
  25. Thx Matt I thought so. Unfortunately I'm out of country so can't help! I'll get the Mrs to haggle!! Craig
