  2. I also watched the whole debate. Same old guff from Corbyn. He swerved and steered most questions back to these pre learnt statements he's comfortable with and that he spews out every time. TBH I struggle to look at the man, as said before you can see it eating him up from inside having to state that 'the party have decided to back Trident' etc. I'd love to see the results of a polygraph. The man is a vile creature who will promise whatever he thinks the electorate want to hear. How those in the labour heartlands of Manchester, Liverpool and Birmingham can support such a creature, who was colluding with PIRA terrorists whilst they were bringing death and destruction to those very cities is beyond me! UK needs to wake up, the man is a treacherous, morally bankrupt fraud who would drag the country back to the 1970's.
  3. For anyone that supports or aspires to an IS lifestyle, we should help them along their personal path of discovery - starting with the 2-3k on the watch lists, load 'em onto Herc's or C17s and static line drop them into IS held territory. There you go chopper, that's what you wanted, knock yourself out, you're not wanted here! Ha ha love it Kev. I'm happy to pack the chutes (with dirty dhobi!)😆 Why we grant citizenship and not residency fails to amaze me. With the latter, if someone steps out of line it's revoked and they are deported, simple! Same with dual or multiple citizenship, make all swear allegiance to one country only and cancel the others.
  4. You said 20 children in your original post. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-middle-east-29004253 I agree that UK foreign policy has to change! From my experience of working in the Gulf for 14yrs, the Islamic world does not want or need democracy. Sent from my iPad using Arbtalk
  5. "We've just sold billions of pounds worth of weapons to Saudi Arabia. You'd never guess who one if the main sources of funding for Isis/daesh are..." Mark where do you get your facts from? You state that 20 children were murdered in Manchester? On what grounds do you think that Saudi sponsor IS? IS have publicly stated that they want their followers to attack Saudi, and have conducted many atrocities there including multiple Mosque bombings and assassinations. Sent from my iPad using Arbtalk
  6. Mole Valley and BASC will give 15% discount I believe.
  7. I definitely said 'his own country' 😉 When I was at school Scotland was still a country....
  8. Please note clearly 'in my humble opinion'![emoji6] Sent from my iPad using Arbtalk
  9. From the man who wants to sail his own country over the cliff![emoji106] Sent from my iPad using Arbtalk
  10. So being childless leads to a lack of patriotism? Sorry but imho that is nonsense. Some of the most patriotic people I have ever met have been either childless or not gone down that path yet. Sent from my iPad using Arbtalk
  11. But safe havens won't prevent the huge number of economic migrants that illegally enter Europe.
  12. Just brought Echo PB500 backpack blower, happy so far, plenty of puff even on wet grass! Sent from my iPad using Arbtalk
  13. Yep the gearbox is rotating on the shaft. I can't believe it relies on two bolts to stop it rotating, surely it should be splined? Poor design, thanks openspace, I'll look at that option. Thx Craig Sent from my iPad using Arbtalk
  14. My Husky 343R brush cutter has developed a fault. I fitted the bramble basher blade and as soon as I rev the machine the head assembly is rotating under torque. I have torqued up the clamping screws but no fix. Is there meant to be a keyway or spline that prevents this or have I snapped something. Cheers in advance. Craig
  15. Ha Ha once again poorly researched comments. You get your facts from visiting the Kingdom or Fox News? Saudi funded extremist islam? Who are Saudi currently funding? The probable reason that Saudi Arabia is not included in Mr Trumps plan for banning muslims from certain countries entry to US is that they are actively sharing information and intel. Why would Saudi sponsor a terrorist organisation that called on Saudi citizens to “rise up against the apostate tyrants and avenge your people in Syria, Iraq, and Yemen.” Al Baghdadi has called for targeting of Saudis Shia minority as well as members of the Saudi royal family and security forces. Saudi is actively at war against Al Qaeda in Yemen and hunting out IS extremists within the kingdom (and doing a pretty good job of it). You might be surprised to learn that many of the 'repressed' Saudis are more than happy with the stricter version of Islam that is in place. The new King has a more liberal approach. (probably the wrong word) Change is occurring in Saudi, many of the stricter rules and regulations are under review but it will take time to implement the changes (probably decades rather than years). The religious leaders have ultimate control/power, even over the state. Believe it or not......the whole world does not want the American Dream!!
  16. "Prop up a wahibist extremist cult in Saudi Arabia to protect our oil supply" Barack Obama pledged to wean the United States off foreign oil. "I will set a clear goal as president: In 10 years we will finally end our dependence on oil in the Middle East ... Kevin you clearly have little understanding of the situation in the region (imho sadly the norm amongst most Americans). Have you seen the chaos in Libya, Egypt, Iraq, Yemen and Syria? The last thing the world needs is Saudi collapsing into tribal or sectarian conflict, or IS kicking off in the Kingdom. Look at where Saudi sits geographically; Iraq and Syria to the North, and Yemen to the South..... Iran to East. Iran is stirring the **** in the region, an unstable Saudi could/would lead to the whole Arabian peninsula falling into chaos. So continue to support them? Probably a good idea. Actually the Gulf states have some good ideas when it comes to migrant workers (including Western Expats): Make sure they have a sponsor/job. Work visas only issued to those who have the required skill set. Medical Insurance required Only issue residence visa, don't give citizenship. If you break the law - deported at your expense (asset grab). For UK I would add to that list removal of dual nationality, and make all swear allegiance to Queen and Country! 17. IMHO, sadly there is a fair chunk of society in both camps that are not fit to make those decisions. That's surely why we have politicians in the first place? Incoming..... Sent from my iPad using Arbtalk
  18. I'm sure it is, but what happens when the police, military, prison service etc become underfunded to the point where they cannot function (don't go there![emoji15]). Social meltdown and the demise of our great country. Sent from my iPad using Arbtalk
  19. Thx for that Kev. I'm pretty sure BASC deal is on with Toyota also, it certainly was when I was looking at doing the deal last year. I didn't go through with that due to Snows Exeter not bothering to follow it up. I purchased my last Hilux through Snows Plymouth and tbh they were pretty good. You are right about the scratches etc when trying to do a trade in deal. They offered me stupidly little for mine with 35k on it, much tooth sucking at the couple of minor scuffs on front bumper. Assume it's not lacking grunt-wise? Thx Craig
  20. Im thinking of trading in my 2013 3.0L Invincible (double cab) Hilux for new. Now its been out for a few months whats the general consensus? Enough grunt or wait for the 2.8 (Inshallah)? Real time fuel economy? General impressions etc. Thx in advance Craig
  21. The echo pole saw will take a hedge trimmer head if that's what you mean by multi? Another thumbs up for the echo here👍 Craig
  22. Can I ask what sort of dosh you paid Marko? A builder mate of mine made one with thermal bricks out of night storage heaters. Supposedly cheap as chips from council recycling. I like the idea of portability, Can you post some more pics please. Craig
  23. Thanks guys, anyone any experience of growing the hybrid poplar? The nurseries are saying 100-150mm dia logs. In 4-5yrs?
