1. It might work off the interior light switch?

Goaty

All the best and a speedy recovery Goaty!👍
3. Ha AKA 'The Mucky Duck', Pompy was full of odd people in the 80's, most of them Matelots or Booties👍
4. The issue has now been fixed on the new Hilux.
5. Just at the weekend eh!? Think I may have met you in 'The Mighty Fine' pub in Pompey! Ha ha
6. BASC discount currently 18% (on Invincible, Invincible X and all auto models) until end of Sep 17!
7. I work for an oil services company in Saudi. All I can say is there is no sign of production slowing down. I would guess that Saudi domestic consumption of the overall output is nothing more than a teacup out of a bath full of oil. As Trigger Andy eluded to, extraction methods have improved, and reservoirs that were not profitable to tap historically are now so. I don't think Saudi is anywhere near the dregs of the barrel yet!
8. Speak with Riko, they will give you some good advice and options. Riko UK :: Welcome to Riko UK and Alpine Tractors
9. Combination of poor tyre pressure, slopey ground and uneven loading. If it had been anything other than an alpine it would have probably tipped the tractor too. Surprised just how easy these little trailers will tip.
10. Oh bugger! Looks like we grubbed em out too soon! Was concerned it would spread to the rest. I assume the spuds will be ok if we leave em underground a couple of weeks. Thx for advice
11. Thanks guys. Bit late Paul, my Mrs has cut them back to the ground! First year we have grown them and probably made a few mistakes, watering the leaves, planted a bit tight together. Not sure what the variety is as away at work. Will check when home. Hopefully the ones we planted out of boxes will do ok.
12. Think my spuds have been hit with blight? Any top tips appreciated
13. Matelot your use of 'white British' is offensive. British is British and illegal immigrants are illegal! Colour or religion has nothing to do with it. Over the years both in and out of the military, I have met, worked with, befriended and fought alongside inspirational British people from all races and religions. I have also met some white British despicable, bigoted, lazy ar*eholes! Please don't spin this conversation to your own racist agenda, or 'Royal' will get upset!😉
14. Will be interesting to see how they handle the 'compo' issue! Will illegal immigrants be entitled to claim? What about landlords who illegally sub-letted flats? Prosecuted? What about the persons who allegedly stole and sold fire doors......culpable manslaughter?
15. I'm with you Marcus, also zero claims since 87. But if I managed to break the £300 glass and the cause was covered within the accidental damage clause of my policy, you can be assured I would claim! No brainier...
16. So have I mate, aint she great, and worth every penny of the 62p/pp she costs! God Save The Queen!
17. Im hoping I'm not gonna have to replace it any time soon! Would be an insurance claim at that price mate.
18. If you want something more contemporary the Morso 7000 range pedestal stove is a good choice. Approx 7Kw.
19. Couple of beauties there Stubby. Do you work cocker?
20. Libtard! New one on me, will add to my vocabulary and try and use daily
21. Another option.... We have a Dunsley Yorkshire boiler stove that feeds a thermal bank. Gives approx 8Kw to water and 6Kw to the room. Great bit of kit, and talking of weight/quality this beast weighs 200kg!! Without the fire dogs:biggrin: Another point worth mentioning to potential stove purchasers is that a dedicated woodburner attracts a discounted VAT rate which aint applicable to a multi-fuel stove.
22. Fair point!
23. Well said! That might stop some of the wasters signing up for basically 3yrs of pissing up and carrying on! Once students leave Uni their tax band/code should be adjusted and the student loan recovered with immediate effect (on employment).
