Absolutely unbelievable!! Chap come onto the forum for a bit of advice and gets treated like that. And the best bit, you tried to make a joke of it, at least have the moral fibre to back up your veiled speech. Only thing missing was some sort of gibe about 'southerners nicking all our work'. Andrew mate, cracking work ethic...wish a few more people in our great country had the same. I wish I could offer you some advice but i'm just a poor former serviceman with a gold plated pension who's never done a hard day's work in his life!! Good luck with your plans.

If you want it mounted on a road tailer Wallenstein comes ready to go (lights, the whole ish!) and most work either vertical (handy with those big rings) and horizontal. Probably the only thing they have over the Riko. Both V good and in your price range!

Yeah T Piece is a better option so you can sweep up through it. The maximum length of horizontal pipe allowed from the back of the stove to the vertical flue is only 150mm I have a Morso squirrel that was vented off the top and is now from the back for the same reason ie to bring it forward. The installer said that it will draw better off the back. I'm not sure it does but it's certainly no worse. No scope to pull the liner forward and fit a new register plate? I would seriously consider getting a HETAS installer to have a look at the installation. Quite a few 'sweeps' also do installing so have a ring about. CDO -

Would certainly help if you could bring if forward a tadge, remember you need 300mm of non combustable hearth in front of it though. Easy to do so, the flue doesn't have to go vertical (although ideally) so 2x30' pipes might allow you to bring it forward. Sounds like your register plate hasn't been finalised yet anyway so even easier? Have you definately got plenty of air coming into the room? -
OK so they were all at it at that time. Forgivable. Is that an excuse for lying publicly the way he has over that last year or so. He has finally admitted to what most in the sport already knew. The fact that he didn't come clean until the evidence was undeniable is what's not forgivable. not only a cheat, but a liar and a fraudster. Hopefully he will go down!! As for the cancer excuse, there are far better men, women and children that have fought that terrible disease and other worse problems, with courage and cheerfulness in the face of adversity! Liar and bully, anything worse?! Rant over!!

Sorry to hear your sad news, a real cracking looking Springer! A s a 'Spaniel Man' I can only guess what you are going through mate. Good idea to get another so quickly, i'm not a believer in waiting to get another friend, well when it comes to dogs anyway!!

Nespresso all the way! All the other pod machines are a copy!! Check out John Lewis. Yes the pods are dearer than buying beans/ground coffee- BUT each pod will be fresh each time. Ground coffee starts to go stale within 1 hour of grinding unless vacuum sealed. Traditional espresso machines need to be seasoned before each use and cleaned each time. The coffee needs to be ground to a particular level to ensure that the coffee is extracted properly So if you want good fresh espresso coffee you will end up wasting quite a bit of coffee. Pod coffee does away with all of this. Sorry i'm a bit of a coffee spotter ;-) CDO

Problem with stove - help please!

Yep agree with the blow torch option, we use an electric paint stripper to do the same. Sit it in the stove and leave the door slightly ajar, 5 mins and never an issue. You will find that the problem will be worse on damp warmer days. Our sweep suggested this method and also said you shouldn't shut the stove up when it its out, leave the ash door open (only when the stove is out!!) as this will allow the flue to breathe and prevent it getting cold. First stove we ever had (17yrs ago) was a Woodwarm 9Kw Fireview (with boiler), good stove. I went to get another when we moved home and noticed that the welding and brass castings were really rough. Brought a Clearview 9Kw Vision 500 (without boiler). I have to say that it out performed the Woodwarm. The clean burn was much better (no boiler) and the stove really controllable. Moved again but this time kept the Clearview and will re-install it when we extend. Running a Dunsley Yorkshire/Thermal Store at the mo, fantastic setup. Without doubt a boiler in the stove affects performance considerable. CDO

Hey Mike Stockbridge, lets not get politics mixed up with our duty of care to our Armed Forces, as has been said many times in this post, if shooting a thousand pigs so our medics/docs can practice and perhaps save one brave Marine/Soldier/Sailor/Airman (Or some poor civvy) then bring them hogs on!! And no one has said that the pigs 'lay there and suffer'. In fact they are anaesthetised and in a Veterinarian controlled environment. Reason they use pigs- because anatomically they are very similar to humans. Oh and yeah, I could shoot em, but nothing to do with being 'Hard' or not. WAR IS HELL. Soap box stowed! ;-)
