  1. I have drilled holes in a pallet to take 9 x road pins. That way I can hang 4 barrow bags at a time on them. Simple to move with sack trolley or they can be moved on the pallet if you need to do so.
  2. I have an AGT850 (Riko) and INO 1.6 flail (on Y Blades). It copes V well on really slopey stuff and will take reasonably sized stuff (3'' thorn bush, gorse etc) if you go steady. Would probably cope even better with hammers. The tractors doesn't miss a beat and the reverse drive certainly takes the neck ache out of the job. Only mod I have done is reversing the rear tyres.
  3. You can buy exploding clays from most gun shops, they are effective and look on impact! Cdo
  4. Thanks for that but its a little more than walls and slabbing, I need the whole site levelling, retaining walls, drainage etc etc before getting anywhere near slabs and shrubs. Cheers CDO
  5. I'm after a recommendation for a hard landscaping company to do a domestic job in West Devon. Any advice appreciated! CDO
  6. Sheppy's cider was the downfall of many a fine Royal Marine!! Ha Ha Happy Daze...
  7. Sorry about the loss of your mate. Dont punish yourself, unfortunately these things just happen.
  8. Have a look at 'what stove' on tinternet, they give a review of most stoves. Burleigh Holywell gets a good writeup!! Morso Squirrel is another great more traditional stove.
  9. Had a Woodwarm with back boiler and now got a Clearview without, I would say the Clearview is the best stove we have ever had. Not saying Woodwarm aren't good, but Clearview are better (finish and operation). One point though, any stove is only as good as the flue and the fuel you burn! Also a stove with a boiler will seldom burn as efficiently as one without.
  10. Sounds like it could be 'Blandford Fly'. Check out google, can give you a nasty bite and rash/swelling. More and more prevalent in UK. CDO
  11. Ripe banana mid morning will give you a healthy boost, go for yellow not green bananas as the starch has turned to natural sugar and so will act immediately on blood sugar levels i.e. immediate energy boost. Cdo
  12. Have a look at Treatex, its a hard wax oil that is formulated for oak flooring, I have used it on work surfaces, doors etc, very hard wearing and easy to apply.
  13. The metcheck forecast is pants!! Stick with the Met Office, they never get it wrong........Ha Ha On a serious note, the owner of met check is an alleged convicted sex pest!!..check google!
  14. Just brought a set of the Husky ones off Amazon, just short of £90 a couple of weeks ago, no probs with reception in a poor reception area but could do with being a bit louder than the highest setting. Not sure if you can adjust them? Generally well made and look like they will last. CDO
  15. My new toys!! AGT850 & INO Elite L flail.
  16. My Honda Foreman 500 drinks the stuff! As NI Tree says dont ask!!
  17. Marko that is a stunner!! Very similar to the one I learnt to drive on, well not really, the one I drove had a yard scraper on the back, every panel bashed or rusted and the whole thing covered in cow sh*te! Ha Ha I'd give my 'left one' to own that!!
  18. Scum! Not worth anymore comments really!! Gutted for you!
  19. Seems strange that considering that Mrs T was democratically elected 3 times, how come so much time is given listening to the minority? Typically the ones who do the shouting, rioting and generally kicking off are not the majority but the minority that cant live within the rules of democracy!! Mrs T saved our nation, plain and simple, she put the 'Great' back in Britain. It's about time that people showed some respect. As for all the anti war rhetoric, i've met only a few servicemen/women who had bad words about her. Generally she was loved and respected!!You will never see balls that big on a woman again, well apart from that woman I saw in Thailand...but thats another story!! Rant over!! Cdo Out
  20. Just phoned my local rural garage (he actually operates the pump and has time for a yap still!! ha ha), 80p/litre inc, from the pump or 200l barrel. Think i'll stick with jerry cans and support my local trader!! Thanks for the feedback chaps. Eddie some good advice there mate, thx CDO
  21. Wondering what people are paying for red, not in volume but at the pump in small quantities (100litres)? Trying to work out if its worth investing in a bulk tank or continue with jerry cans? Cheers CDO
  22. I find the stihl ones undersized and fall apart quickly!! Ha Ha
  23. Commando

Axminster Power Tools do a nice 50litre jobbie for a couple of hundred quid?
  24. Makita 18v Liion all the way!! Buy cheap...buy twice!!
