  1. The echo pole saw will take a hedge trimmer head if that's what you mean by multi? Another thumbs up for the echo here👍 Craig
  2. Can I ask what sort of dosh you paid Marko? A builder mate of mine made one with thermal bricks out of night storage heaters. Supposedly cheap as chips from council recycling. I like the idea of portability, Can you post some more pics please. Craig
  3. Thanks guys, anyone any experience of growing the hybrid poplar? The nurseries are saying 100-150mm dia logs. In 4-5yrs?
  4. Im contemplating planting a 1 acre rough steep field with hybrid poplar for future firewood. What can I expect in terms of firewood and how long before I can coppice and realistically cut the first decent crop. What size logs am I gonna get after 4 or 6yrs. Is poplar a good firewood? Any advice appreciated Craig
  5. Does make me wonder how another company can supply a similar product at a cheaper price and do free delivery!?😡
  6. Thx guys some good advice there, it's been up 2yrs so hoping it's weathered enough. Will degrease and steam clean it first👍 Craig
  7. Alec Many thanks, great advice as usual! That looks like just the ticket, and free delivery too👍 Craig
  8. Moving on from my last post.....Has anyone had experience of painting over galvanised steel? I have some estate fencing that has been galved (about 2yrs ago so well weathered) and needs to be painted black. Any recommendations of products and preparation greatly appreciated. Cheers CP
  9. I have just been quoted £58 for delivery on a single 5L tin of paint (to paint over galvanised steel), reason 'because its a hazardous product'! Seems excerionally steep to me:confused1: Are couriers charging that sort of money on a can of paint or is someone trying it on? Cheers Craig
  10. Well said Sir!👍
  11. Well said Kev and much more eloquent that what I was about to write. You really ought to have some therapy chum! Despicable comment, get back under your rock!
  12. Thanks for the advice, I went with the Echo PB500 backpack blower and will look at the vac option at a later date.
  13. IMHO any report/investigation or article that includes input from LACS is discredited by association! Bunch of Cnuts! With reference to the OP question, surely if the government decide that a cull will take place, the landowner will have no power to stop persons who are entering property to carry out that policy? Anyway its Wed morning and I'm off hunting!
  14. Just rejuvenating this post. Im still looking for a blower, the vac might be handy too. Many thanks for the replies. I think most of the recommends will be overkill. Any advice or reviews on the smaller hand held blower/vacs? Anyone got a Stihl BG 86 C blower or Echo ES250ES Petrol Blower/Vac? Thx in advance
  15. Bit of a broad sweeping statement! There are plenty of 2year and older dogs that come good in later life. Many trainers say don't even start until 12-18 months, obviously case by case basis. Sent from my iPad using Arbtalk
  16. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion.....but not your own facts!! Ha ha oh and the earth is flat....🤡
  17. What part don't you believe mate. The Rotherham enquiry report estimates 1400 children were sexually abused by a British/Pakistani gang. Do some research.... how much evidence do you need?
  18. I can't help thinking Blair will have a similar effect as Obama and actually drive more people to support Brexit. Grade 1 Cnut! Sent from my iPad using Arbtalk
  19. I have just taken a roll top off of a 2013 Double Cab Hilux - open to sensible offers? Got me thinking though, I regularly leave 2 gun dogs in the back of my truckman in an unlocked cage! Think I'll buy a decent lockable transit box! What sort of scum steal clothing and a kids jacket ffs?
  20. All the best mate! Hope you are on the road to full recovery!!
  21. Ha ha the classic 'racist' and 'fascist' jibes for anyone with anything other than your naive utopian view! Sent from my iPad using Arbtalk
  22. Wrong! Radical Islam is a threat to European security not just IS. If you think an open door policy to Islamic migrants is the way ahead you are a fool! As it is not to any other migrants I hastily add. He didn't include KSA or UAE in his temporary ban because they share intelligence. You need to wake up and smell the coffee chum!
  23. If you can't take a bit of sh*t mate, you have the wrong hobby, I mean job!😉😜 Seriously though, it's an emotive subject and unfortunately the Bobby on the street takes the flack for managerial/governmental decisions.
  24. Because right now Saudi are fighting their own was against IS, and sharing their intelligence with the US, who share it with UK. Same with UAE. If we don't buy Saudi oil where do we get it? They possess 18% of the worlds proven oil reserves and are the big cheese in OPEC, who control collectively 80% of oil reserves (proven). So until we break our addiction to oil and its derivatives we are kind of f**ked!
