  1. As the worlds second biggest polluter and the largest consumer of oil on the planet I can't help thinking its a bit hypocritical to get on their high horse about this issue. Got a bit of the Deepwater Horizon smell to it! Let's go after another company that ain't American, sue the **** out of them and look like we are the great environmentalists!!
  2. We have had many different stoves over the years, Woodward, hunter, Morso (the legendary squirrel) but without doubt the Clearview Vision 500 top trumped them all in terms of efficiency and the glass staying clean, fantastically controllable too. They are expensive but in my mind worth the extra dosh. Cdo
  3. 👍👍its me annual holiday! Ha ha
  4. Ha ha nice one Royal!
  5. Looks alright on BBC weather?.
  6. 👍exactly!
  7. With all due respect, I think you are talking utter sh*te matelot. (Not the first time I've said that in my life😳). Very few people who make serious money legitimately do so without hard work. You can bust a gut all day for £80, or you can use your brain and get into the serious wonga. I'm pretty sure JKR is paying some serious taxes and probably giving a fair bit to charity. All this socialist crap does my head in, 'share the wealth'... Somebody has to earn it first! It's her house, do with it as she wishes!!
  8. Any idea what sort of money for something reasonable with a loader Jon? Thx Cdo
  9. Always worth tipping off the local plod fellas, it's the only way to move em on!!
  10. What sort of money you got to part with for a reasonable 390 with loader? Thinking of going down that route my self.
  11. Have an AGT850 reversible. Only use it for flailing on steep ground, runs a 1.5m flail with ease. Its a cracking bit of kit that punches well above its weight/size. Few issues with design, exhaust blows grass up and into radiator so have to clear it out regularly or it runs hot. Bit cramped for a big bloke! But have had it 3yrs now and it is doing well, lots of grunt for a little machine and have never felt like it was going to go over, even side on.
  12. Black IBCs are the way ahead!
  13. I had a close shave whilst cleaning out the stove with Henry, sucked up some embers that went into the bag. The vacuum acted like a blacksmiths forge and ignited the bag. Luckily I smelt it before I put it back under the stairs!! V lucky!
  14. Hi Jon, they aren't cheap but no more than any of the other top quality stoves. If you ring around there's plenty of places selling them at discount (much to the annoyance of Clearview I expect). I think they take some beating if u want a clean burning stove that let's u see the fire without having to clean the glass every other day. They definitely aren't the best looking stove on the market! You pay yer money and take yer choice!
  15. Stick with Clearview! Nothing snobby about that!👍
  16. Speak to Jim at Riko, he can source an will give you good advice on what the 835 can handle.
  17. Oh I forgot to say, thats not a glass its in but the wheel of the Hilux!! Ha Ha
  18. Any ideas what type of spider? Found inside the house, think it but the Mrs on the back of the neck, nasty itchy bite!
  19. I had a D3 V8, from new and it didn't miss a beat (except the usual EPB issue). But as Jon said, I wouldn't buy one without a warranty. Cdo
  20. Surely all people are doing is trying to warn the OP off of potential problems from personal experience? Oh and as for your quote "JAPANESE MOTORS ARE JUST AS UNRELIABLE AS LANDROVERS"' on what data is that based? Might want to check this site out, Honda, Suzuki, Toyota, 1,2,3! You'll find Landrover down at 27! http://www.whatcar.com/car-news/honda-named-uks-reliable-used-car-manufacturer-2015/1342848
  21. I hired a Wessex AF 120, very good on the flat. But lethal on slopes! Very well built and powerful enough to smash rushes.
  22. What sort of money are they making? After one myself!!
  23. Thanks for the advice chaps, interesting comments about the hydraulic thumb, is it worth the extra money?
  24. Im looking at fitting a thumb or similar to my ZX30 digger for moving timber, brash and rocks about. I dont want to spend a load on it but want something that will last. Thinking of a fixed thumb as hydraulic is probably more than I want to spend Any ideas or recommendations/options appreciated. Cheers Craig
