  1. Did anyone find out the reason why the 362's are doing this? I've had the top of the carb several times adjusting the metering arm and slightly moved the throttle butterfly to raise the idle speed. All seem to work fine when the saw is cold, starts after a few pulls and idles fine. Gets warm and just decides it wants to stop and wont start again until its cooled down. Changed the plug just in case it was that causing the problem, but still no different. Unfortunately its out of warranty so unless its something I can sort myself it'll be down the road before long!!! Shame as when it is running it a strong little saw, but just damn annoying.
  2. Just out of curiosity what can you calibrate/adjust with the software? I've got a 362 which seems to idle slightly slow and wants to stall all the time, which wouldn't be too bad but is also a pita to start once warm.. Can the idle be lifted with your kit?
  3. Ebay now automatically relists an item for a second time if it doesn't sell in the first auction. Maybe it got automatically relisted and he doesn't know how to end it?? I've bought stuff out of ebay before and some people just don't know how to end it. Just a thought?
  4. What about seddons at castleford Jonny? Got a 661 off em recently had it in stock at another branch and moved it up for me. Got a really good discount on it too!! Couldn't get them to 30% but not far off ;-).
  5. Open the hole up in the muffler and it goes even better, have 2 and both have been/are spot on. Ones got a 20" narrow kerf bar and chain on from Rob D, pretty nippy through the wood with that on. Doesn't load up the engine as much so cutting speeds quick! Nice saw IMO!
  6. I assume you've not seen this one at then! http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&alt=web&id=301406390690 If I could sell half a dozen of these a year Id give up work!
  7. Probably not quite as well as the posch but saw one of these working at fuelwood open day, not bad but jammed up a couple of times but that could of been operator error. AMR SAT4-700
  8. Looks like they are now back available. Jonsie has them on there website and a article in farmer guide magazine saying they'll be at the apf. Anyone looked at/tried the new version??
  9. Strange as I've just bought a new front wrap handle for mine today. £20 brand new from stihl dealer inc vat with 10% disc. Not sure on changing tonight's job.
  10. Tbh if we'd had a similar offer to the previous I'd have probably had 2 or 3 bars was a tad peeved to have missed it the first time.
  11. Sorry if you get a stiff neck viewing the pictures
  12. Had this piece of Beech come in a while ago to be cut up for logs. Thought it looked to have some nice colourings in from the end but a bit of rot coming up from the base. Was originally about 10ft long but had to take a good 4 or ft off to get to the end of the rot, still didn't get quite get to the bottom of it but not far off, was about 24'' diameter. Was amazed by the colours once started cutting! Cut straight down the centre for the first cut to half it then stood the half up took another cut off to get a straight edge to sit on the mill then worked down from the top if that makes sense. Milled on a Logosol M7. Thinking it would make a nice table as laid out in one of the pictures. Pictures only show one half milled other half is still to do ran out of time.
  13. I would have said more a ear deadener to be honest?
  14. That thought had crossed my mind but didn't want to say it .
  15. Massey 35 doing a bit of processing.
  16. There is one thing that is for certain, it's done exactly what Rob D wanted and got you all talking about the ad/sugihara bars. Maybe the op should be in commission!

  18. I wouldn't touch that one at all, it's another eBay con. Look at the other items they are selling all machinery at way under value! Not saying there is anything wrong with the machine it's self but they are usually on for around 12k not that price I'd steer well clear!!!!!!
  19. 18'' light type for stihl 461 fitting. Will there be any pre order discounts this time as per your last order by any chance? Thanks
  20. Precisely what I've just done doh! Haha merry Christmas all.
  21. There was this one about a week ago on eBay. Not sure if it sold or just ended though. Might be worth a try. Chainsaw Mill Logosol m7 With Stihl 064 | eBay Cheers Chris
  22. The 241's and 261's both have the plastic bit on the inside of the carb almost going down the inlet throat. I've removed it on a 261 but must admit it doesn't seem any different in the mid range but at full throttle it seems to have made it worse splutters and pops a bit like over fuelling. At least that's what I thought .
  23. All you need to do is write sugihara on that bar and no one would know the difference.
  24. Euroforest are at the same price in Yorkshire, job wasn't far away from us so got him down to £54/t plus vat but said it's flying of site at £56 plus vat.
  25. Chris, Don't suppose the chaps user name had Dan in and he was from Norfolk by any chance? I'm selling a 576 had this chap contact me for a buy it now price when it was in auction etc anyway told him a price agreed told him I wanted it done out of eBay to avoid fees etc said fine no problem but he wanted to pay through PayPal so he was guaranteed as he'd bought a 357 used it in 2 jobs and it had broke so was trying for his money back. Needless to say my saws still here, I think if it runs when it departs your company it's at the buyers expense to repair especially after 2 jobs, could have done needless things to it even repaired his knack erred saw with good bits from yours!
