  1. You could try cleaning them etc so they look newer.
  2. Seen a really nice geodesiec dome locally, made from peeled sweet chesnut & blue water pipe. Seemed easier than a yurt to make the structure? Not sure about how the covering was shaped etc though.
  3. I have once seen a 70yr old free climbing aroud the upper branches of a 40ft ash tree with an electric corded chiansaw.
  4. Stylish looking barrow Builders And Contractors | Tufx Brand Wheelbarrows
  5. I think they should make a modern light weight version of the chinese wheel barrow. Unlike the western version you don't lift as much weight as the wheel is located centrally so you are just kind of balancing the load. Low-tech Magazine: How to downsize a transport network: the Chinese wheelbarrow
  6. One thing i can't stand is thoose 2 wheel barrows They don't corner & massive turning circle
  7. Tracked dumper barrow thingy. This one Dumper 507 Grillo Spa - Agrigarden Machines Only £5,572.00 bargin
  8. Best wheelbarrow I ever had is a trallfa (Norwegian company) The body is still going strong stuck on a different newer chassis. Google Translate They even have a model with suspension? Now they call em TrallNor it seems.

  10. Anyone tried the Cutting edge stallion one? 6.3m Stallion 6.3m Pole Saw | pruning-tools | cutting-edge-pruning-saws | Gustharts
  11. Can recommend the makita electric saw as have one. Obviously no good in the woods but for logging up in yard next to house ideal. UC4030A Sthil & husky do versions also but not tried them.
  12. That seems abit of a conservative estimate for the average house. Of course if you have very good insulation..... Also heating is more efficient with underfloor heating than radiators.
  13. Might be worth getting a makita electric chainsaw to log up the stuff once you drag it to near the house. But on the other hand if you logged up the lengths in the woods you could extract the timber using a wheel barrow prehaps.
  14. Do you live in a castle!? How much wood does it cosume?
  15. How many horse power or KW does the battery husky have doesn't say on the website?
  16. @ the crazy eyed bloke on the front page with the felcos.
  17. Shame would of make good firewood. Least it provided habitat for the bugs/fungi I suppose
  18. You need a bike computer also I reckon so you know how "far" you have cycled in a certain time. Then you can try say how far you can get in 1/2 hr etc. Otherwise harder to be motivated.
  19. Some very pretty looking & effiecent stoves. Low-tech Magazine: Sunbathing in the living room: oven stoves and heat walls Love the huge ornate tiled ones
  20. Theres is a pricey stove called the xeoos flames go upside down. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jIXYMXdVzuE]xeoos twinfire - YouTube[/ame] Think if i won the lottery i'd get one.
  21. So might be the same as having 2 eco fans
  22. Sounds a very good deal. Buy it all at that price before someone else does. Also non split is better in some ways as you get more wood volume & less air gaps most likely.
  23. De la Soul fan? Good music taste!
  24. Nice to see proper dry stone walling rather than ugly cement/stone walls you see everywhere. Whats that metal strip in the concrete some kind of drainage?
  25. Ebay has loads of adverts for buiders bags of wood softwood hardwood outcuts everthing... None as cheap as 25 quid delivered though.
