  1. Clean plate . Good boy !
  2. I have found Pop to be very good fire wood as long as once it is split and dried it is kept dry . It soaks up water like a sponge . One chap on here boiled his central heating with Poplar .
  3. The first one I did I thought " Yea " ! . I went strait out and got a checked shirt and some Husky braces . 40 years on I don't even watch when some one else knocks one over ..
  4. Think its 5mm X 1.25 pitch .
  5. I thought the " R " clip goes in a clevis pin .

  8. Spud is your man for the technical stuff but yes , bin the spark arrest screen and open the exhaust up a bit . Will run cooler . You then need to tune the saw to suit . Spud or adw will advise you on that .
  9. Spud has ported most of my saws and every single one is better for it . They run cooler stronger and somewhat louder . Just more efficient . It would be rude not to !

  11. If you want proper old school it would be pre Xtorque , the old 372XP but of course it wont be new .

  13. Id get a 372 . Same power as a 576 but less weight .
  14. "I'v cut off all the small branches and and piled them up for you if you could put them through your machine "..... Instead of long lengths of brash all pointing the same way he has cut them into 2ft lengths and piled them every which way .

  17. Quite a bit of carbon on the top of the piston and a bit of scoring . Whats the pot look like ?
