  1. Yes I prefer to watch Jack but Ashton also puts points on the board if not in such an appealing way .
  2. Ok . I did not do any heat treating . They were 65 rockwell but I suppose you need to aneal them and re harden to a lesser figure
  3. Air leak over revving and running lean . Old mix ?
  4. Im all for Marlon Yard ( being a Harlequin and all ) but I would have thought Ashton should be on the plane with the option to play him . He does it a different way to Jack Nowel and not so involved as Jack but Ashton has a way of appearing from deep into a space that is not there and popping one down . Jack is more magical I think and you see him work and create .
  5. Andrew . Chiefs aside for a moment . Can you make sense of the decision to leave Ashton out of the England squad ?
  6. Yes I realize it holds a good edge as I have made them myself but it is too brittle and wont take much side load intended or accidental .
  7. But too brittle when you thin it down to an edge ....
  8. Then there was Great Grandma........
  9. She seems so delicate at the moment . Not like Seeker . He was " ripped "
  10. I made a large " Bowe " type knife out of an old machine hack saw blade once . Held a razor edge but was too brittle .
  11. You should be able to alter the height attachment point of your harness . You can on the Husky one any way . It has one point for strimming and another for forestry clearing saw .
  12. Be rude not to under the circumstances . Godda find out what you like .
  13. Thanks Goosey . Always a challenge but the rewards can be huge . A little and often is the way
  14. Yep of course , goes without saying . If you can get them to go lidless with flipflops all the better
  15. You are certainly the key piece in this new dynasty Paul .
  16. Kinda thought so but just to be sure !
  17. If you do that it could compromise the integrity of the lid . You get a 4inch dia stick hit you on the sweed you want it to bounce off not cave your lid in !
  18. Oi oi Grandad Tree ! Life is great mate . Well done . Looks like a " minime " ( you ) in the pic !
  19. If you are not wet you are not working ...........Do it to all of mine .
  20. Just drill out the depressions in each side of the ridge . About a 4mm drill . I think it meant to be but the side cores in the mould tool don't quite shut off leaving a flash .
  21. Thanks Paul . Yes I have heard that as well but I have had 8 , 9 now and never come across it before .
  22. Have you still got the OEM jug ? Might be salvageable and then fit a Metier piston .
