  1. Absolutely Andrew . I have got to say Jack is my favorite ( non Quins ) player at the moment . Marlon Yard did put one over though .....
  2. With that performance in a strait line wouldn't you want it to ?
  3. So . England beat Aus in the first test in Brisbane . Good going . Lets keep it up for at least one more !
  4. This is true but ......As we have both said what caused it .....You were using the same mix in your 254 unless it has been run with the wrong mix prior to you receiving it ...
  5. It would but why should you have to .....Its your call .....
  6. Yea . Like the look , always have ( Dad had a 3 wheeler with the British Anzani engine ) But the latest one does not handle very well according to TV car people .
  7. Blimey ! you would have thought the dealer would have checked it over first .......Oh , no it wasn't a dealer ....
  8. If you do it through paypal ( assuming you paid with paypal ) you have a longer time in which to return it . You have to open a case and if the seller wont take it back and they find in your favor you have to get an online checkable tracking number / Once it gets back paypal issue you with a refund including the original postage but not the postage for sending it back .
  9. Whats his feed back like ?
  10. The seller will say you used bad mix or old fuel etc etc but its worth a punt
  11. Yea THIS ! Forgot you had it ff the bay .
  12. Is it not the end of the crank that has been ground slightly oval causing the bearing to eventually fail ?
  13. Usually the bore can be salvaged and a new OEM or Metior piston fitted / To find the best way of salvaging the bore have a look on Spuds " whats on your bench " thread or give him a pm . You are open to some options now like fitting a 372 top end and carb .......
  14. I expect there will be scores down the piston and aluminum transfer on the bore . This can be caused by any number of things . An air leak causing it to run lean ( split fuel pipe . bad crank seals etc etc ) bad / old mix . Carb adjustment wrong . . Make sure you find the cause before rebuilding it as it will only go again .
  15. Are insurers going to disclose ( in BIG print ) any circumstances were they wont pay out before you pay your premium ?
  16. Pop an extremely in as well
  17. [quote name=jomoco;1473568 I run very high octane racing fuel' date=' mixed with stihl's silver synthetic mix. Thanks for any advice mate. Jomoco[/quote] I did read somewhere the very high octane fuel wont make the engine run as well as lower octane fuel unless you have the higher compression to make it combust properly .
  18. I don't know if this is true but I did read somewhere that the end of the crank was ground slightly oval causing the eventual failure of the bearing .
  19. We have had no issues to date !
  20. Good on yer . Enjoy the rest of your life matey .
  21. I meant unaware of the difference to the internals of the saw if run from the get go on ,Aspen as apposed to pump fuel , additives . Ethanol etc etc .
  22. Blissfully unaware then .....
