Then you could try rearranging the jumpers to delta star ......and see if the current goes up when a load is applied .

Probably suggested but is motor configured " star "- delta " or, " delta "- " star " ? One way drops the current when a load goes on the other raises it .....

There is one near me that flushes green and as the leaves fill out they turn copper colored . Not in spots like that though . Fagus Purpura ? -
