  1. Once you have set the A/T the first time it will continually be adjusting itself to compensate for ambient conditions type of fuel what make of boots you ware etc etc .
  2. When I said did it over rev I didn't mean were you using it flat out ( you are supposed to cut WOT anyway ) What I meant was did it start to rev higher than it should when WOT thus indicating an air leak .
  3. Yes . Get the correct size screw driver . Remove the one screw holding it in place . Slide it out of its location . Put the screw driver away nice and tidy .
  4. Well you bought a Sthil , used Stihl fuel and its under a year old . Not pro use ? just domestic ? then I think they should stand by the warranty . There has to be an air leak me thinks . Did it over rev ?
  5. When you say a " back up saw " do you mean something to use at the chipper or are we talking forestry . If its a chipper saw then any of the little saw mentioned above . If its a " back up saw " for the woods then another pro saw similar to the one you use all day . Thats my thinking .
  6. Very sad . 10 years experience and 32 years old . Christ on a bike how did it happen I wonder ?
  7. Don't know if there is a machine but I have found since using Sugihara Light weight pro bars I only dress them once in a blue moon . ........
  8. Spent alot of time feeding the older A 540 but not the version in your pic . The only fault with the old model is the occasional habit of the top roller getting stuck up . Usually a big ugly lump put through would cure it .
  9. Its the " you'll never get the stain out " bit that would worry me ........
  10. I rather like that . If it were mine I would do the rest of the drive . Not helpful I know .

    Tuning?

Actually at the top end it needs to be " 4 stroking " slightly ( in fresh air ) if not it will be too lean and possibly over heat and nip up .
