I havnt blamed other members of arbtalk and when things were going a bit bonkers I did not egg him on . I hung back a bit to see if it would die a natural death . As I said Jon made the derision himself . We are still in contact as are many other members .

I was felling dead elms around an arable field headland . Houses opposite . Woman comes out and says " what do you think you are doing " I say I know what I'm doing . She says why are you felling those trees ( she said chopping down actually ) I say they are dead . She says " they look perfectly healthy to me " I had to explain what ivy was .

Gob , back cut , put the whole thing through the chipper or keep the trunk for fire wood . Anyone could do that in , what 8 mins ? Add on a scratch up and a blow you could be gone in 15 min .

Never heard him swear . Who do you class as his " so called mates " I for one did not want him to leave . We discussed it privately and it was his choice . He is a very friendly chap and I like him a lot .

I understand were you are coming from BigJ . My Burley is rated at a nominal 5kw but punts out nearer 8kw once up to temp . If you slide the air control wide open is probably more than 8kw but no need to over drive it as it heats my small house fine .
