  1. I get only when I empty the ash out of a cold stove . Just normal stuff with a wood burner I have found .
  2. I had done a days hard graft , was wet through and on my way home . It was blowing a goodun and right in front of me a medium ( 14" dia ) dead elm fell . I had just overtaken the bin truck . I got out and cleared it soon to be helped by the bin men . I was too knackered to even chuck the wood in the pickup . Just wanted to have a hot shower and a cuppa on the sofa .
  3. I never tried that with the one I had . Just sold it on . Funny really cos all my saws nowadays have at least an MM if not a full spud port job .
  4. The California 339 was a pile doo doo . It had a bigger piston and cylinder than a standard 339 . It was to try and keep the power up because of all the extra restrictions on it to meet California emission regs . It could not pull the skin of a cold rice pudding .
  5. Under stood Big J . Wreck fishing is not very subtle .
  6. Consider compression and tension in multiple wind blown .
  7. Sadly on the news tonight a 20ish year old woman lost her life when a " coffee table " sized chunk of wood blew off a roof and hit her . Not good .
  8. I used to do a lot of what you are not so keen on Big J . Wreck fishing was my thing . Motor out and feather for some mackerel on the way out Switch on the Ferograph when at the wreck . Drift the wreck over with pirks . Winch up Ling , Cod , Pollack etc . Anchor up at slack water . Fish in the wreck for the Conga . Drift again on the out going tide . More Ling , Pollack and Cod . Motor home and sell most of the fish put some in the freezer .
  9. Only the new Xtorque models .
  10. Get more tickets , don't say you have been binned of left right and centre , just say how many years you have been bending your back . When you say I keep getting binned of people will start to think there must be a reason ..............

  12. Sorry 'twas only in jest . My Dad has a Toyota hybrid and the woman Across the road has the Nissan leaf you mentioned . Electric motors are quite torquey I think .
  13. Like to see it pull a big Bandit chipper
  14. I don't think that petrol is any cleaner just different dirt if you know what I mean . TDC might have some input .
