  1. The tank vent should be on the out side of the fuel tank some ware . Usually were the tank/back handle protrude under the carb/air filter housing .
  2. Yep for sure . Just a thought to keep you going untill you get a new lenghth of HT lead . Any motor factors I would have thought .
  3. How do you pollinate an insect ?
  4. You cant just go around blowing up children with a nuts and bolts ball bearings bomb .
  5. It may be the type of HT lead that is molded into the coil . Some are , some arent . Have you tried re insulating the the bare bit ?
  6. I would discount consumables . Chain for example . Its not hard to completely ruin a brand new chain ( on a brand new saw ) in seconds . So if the chain is fecked knock off the price of a chain . etc etc .
  7. More importantly I would say you need to adjust the carb slightely . You can advance the ignition by moving the flywheel key location . Spud is your best man to ansewr this as I know he has done it ( on a 395 I think )
  8. Roger Moore died . ...The comedy Bond . " butter hook "
  9. Death toll risen to 22 now . My wife was off to Liverpool next week for a horsey thing . Thinking better of it now .
  10. Possibly but not necessarily . Someone could have made him an offer and he ended the listing early , or , steps have been taken that we are unaware of to recover the stolen saw . Hence the " there was an error in the listing " bit .
  11. Have a look at David Humphries Thread entitled " Interesting Bio mechanics " for others .

    Moto GP

Sad news today . Nicky Hayden died in hospital in Italy after being hit by a car whilst out training on a push bike . Suffered brain damage apparently combined with multiple physical injures . Moto GP champ in 2006 and several podiums in WSB and American SB Came from a family of bike racers . Brothers and his Dad I seem to remember . Nice bloke . Very sad .
  13. The only chance of plod getting near that is if the bloke who buys it or the bloke who is selling it get caught for speeding and they find it in the car .
  14. Like a short version of the thing they hang from helicopters .........
  15. Swimming through treacle .
  16. Found the saw . Was it the little yellow and blue sticker on the air filter cover that you recognized ?
  17. This . I am retired from full time cutting now but still have all of my saws ( except 3120 ) So have gone over to Aspen . Now I have no concerns when pulling out a saw that has not been used for 6 months and firing it strait up . I recon they run better on it anyway .
  18. Mmm . So initial problem not really the saws fault but that of the broken piston stop wouldn't you say ? .....possibly
  19. Andrew . What a game ! Just watched it . Jack and Thomas were looking large ! I thought Sarrys were going to do what Sarrys do and find a way to win from behind but .......... Brilliant game mate well done . Its Buzzin, V the War Drums then !
  20. I was going to suggest Aspen also but you were in first ! .
