  1. Hazel always looks a silver tinted grey to me . The only reason I went for sweet chestnut was I assumed it wasn't Hazel as the op asked "what is it ? ". I just assumed he would recognize Hazel if it was ..........
  2. I dont think that is the debate anymore . We are all agreed one is full chisel and one is semi chisel . The debate is now...... is one round ground and one square ground ?
  3. Glad the dawgs/spikes are to your liking . I bought them before I realised the mounting holes are different on a 560 to a 562 . They been sat in the bag since 2011 !

  5. The only possible " black art " could be if you wanted to sharpen square ground chain with the correct file ( its not round but trapezoidal in section ) . You file from the outside edge inward , the opposite to using a round file . As I said earlier you can file square ground chain with a round file it just becomes " round ground " if you do . Not a problem .

  13. You will need the down tube , and possibly the plate with the thread in for the screw that retains the filter . Its how mine is that's how I know .
  14. Climb up to the branch in question and install a raptor decoy . Owl or hawk etc etc .
  15. Its actually a 3/4 wrap . A hull wrap handle goes right across underneath the body of the saw .
  16. I always understood Hickory was one of highest hard woods . Thing is it has other uses too .
