  5. I have never used them but , from most of the posts about them it seems its a kinda " you get what you pay for " type of thing . Some people say not so good , others seem quite happy . Its your call really .

  7. Steve , I was in our local dealers the other day and a bloke brought a strimmer in with him . He said it revs up but the blade won't go round . I could not help my self and butted in asking if he had ever greased the bevel gears . He said whats that ? .........
  8. Another way to fix it is to get a Husqvarna 525BX blower . More powerful and lighter than the Stihl ?

  12. Depends on how damaged it is . Usually the bore can be salvaged by removing the aluminum transfer and a new piston and ring .

    If it were a Husqvarna 390 then it would piss it !
  14. The MK2 t540 has the " fragile " bits beefed up and a different flywheel ( ignition timing I think ) I have a MK1 with all the bits of a MK2 fitted except for the flywheel .

    The Husky gauge is .058 . I just wondered .056 was some old Stihl guage .

    Are people getting confused between a bar that is .056 gauge slot and a Stihl 056 chainsaw ? (I know it usually .058 or .063 )
  17. A separate " short plank " inserted into both components .
  18. Give them the number of your saw when ordering , alternatively count the number of crank case bolts first .
