    All the barley is cut here . waiting on the oats and rape now . My mate was only cutting the barley between 7:00 and 10:00 am to keep the moisture up ! Don't think we see the driers going this year ...

    I have to be honest and say | don't know . I have observed it before and just thought it was associated with new growth/young shoots . Looks like the beginnings of a copper coloured leaf which I think turns green when mature .
