Your Tree falls into neighbours, whose responsibility to clear up?

A situation I recall ....Regular customer ( to the point of being a friend ) . Tree falls in a blow across the boundary damaging a brick and flint wall and demolishing a shed with a speed boat in it . Gardener ( who is also a friend of us and the client ) Says to the neighbor " I have been telling her for ages it was dodgy ! " So , nothing said to the gardener ( coz he is a nice bloke if somewhat misguided ) Client quietly pays for the lot , wall , shed , speed boat and us to clear tree and asks us not to mention anything to the gardener . -
Condition is terminal .

I think its " open transfers " as opposed to closed like the 346 but that does not make it a bad saw . As most on here know I am a pro Husqvarna man so if it runs ( does not die when up to temp ) and you want it then yes , buy it .

If its a CA and the trees do not have direct TPO then you need to tell the local authority of your intention to do the works . If they do not respond in the time frame specified then you just crack on. BUT . YOU need to see if its just a CA or if there are specific TPOs on any of the trees . Go ,into the local council offices and ask to see if there are any TPOs for that post code . Only do this if you want the work . If you don't then who cares .

Just an aside here ...If you do get permission to clear and extract on a public ROW there might be an insurance issue . Just a thought ...

Hi Steve . Hope you are well bud . Amidst all this 'orrible stuff that is going on of late I cheered myself up by collecting a 2021 black edition Nguard . It probably the last truck I will ever get so I thought I would treat myself . 🙂
