    Just Googled it and yes there is a picture similar to yours of a nest in Norfolk . No explanation give though ....

    I have heard of Badgers sharing an earth with a fox but not pheasants sharing a nest with a Partridge ! Just coz I have never seen or heard of it don't mean it does not happen though ! 😀

    Edgers are always leaning the wrong way . If they need winching back in then it won't be free . Then there is the brash , what happens to that ? Access yada yada yada ....
