  5. Doing what you say will extend the life of the bar over not doing it . The lenght of time it will last is dependent on the amount of usage . Piece of string and all that . It is regarded as a consumable .
  6. Shre does a mean hotel california . When doing Joe Walshes bit to get the bends he puts in she cleaverly rolls across several notes untill she hits it .

  14. I think that they were put in a sealed tank of creosote and then the tank is pressurized to give max penetration . That's how stuff used to be treated here in West Dean estate any way .
  15. Do this with the saw inverted and warm up the plug before refitting .
  16. I have Andrews and Phanner Zermatts . The Andrews are still holding up but they look thinner than the Pfanner boots . I have had the Pfanner boots several years and still good .

  18. I found it to be the opposite re fire wood . Once split it must be kept dry because it is like blotting paper and will sponge up moisture but if kept dry it is good fire wood . Skyhuck boiled his central heating with poplar I recall .
