How long is a piece of string ? What wood is he felling ? Husky will run an 18" the Stihl probably a 20 " ? I dunno coz not tried the Stihl but peeps that have rate it highly .

Stihl is 67cc Husqvarna is 60cc . Both good saws .

Have you tried Cocking saw mill ( just up the hill out of Midhurst ) for the saw logs ?

I am a Husqvarna man but the Stihl MS 400 has had good reviews from peeps that have one .

I would agree there Matty . I would change it to .404 though . ( as on my 395 ) . Too many cutters to sharpen on 3/8ths !

Just having a beer . Anyway got her sorted . Kept it under a grand . Its a DEL . Its got the 16.5" screen . 8gb of ram , access to the cloud M/s office ( for ever , no subscription ) . ( the fix it thing is for ever as well ) If ever it should go wrong they ( Currys ) will fix it within 7 days or she will get a new one . Windows 10/11 . One of those pen things , Loads of other stuff but I can't remember . £ 830 odd . Thanks everyone for your help and opinions .
